Put the 7.3 in the crew cab!! The fold out in the back seat is to use with the seats up. The 6.0 can be a good motor if bulletproofed. Do not part out the crew cab.

Sounds like a”ficm “fuel injection control module 2005-2007 6.0 are hands down better heads studs / straight exhaust/ tune hands down a the funniest truck you will ever drive! Way better than a LS swapped obs… Once you take all the crap egr delete head studs it. That 6.0 you can beat on tow heavy and you will be so happy. 4r100 transmission you will be amazed 6.0 best power ford made. 7.3 is dependable transmission is weak 7.3 is slow

6.0 is a junk engine, and it's probably hydro lock plus you have to bullet proof that truck,put the 7.3 in it, and it's golden.

Im sure it could drive out of state but switching gears in that old, slow ass truck would be tiresome. i'm saving for a certain trailer that i want to get for the semi. Its a pretty expensive trailer but once i can get one, we going to work!

Pull the 6.0 out and drop the 7.3 in it, or 12 valve cummins swap it..but your best bet is to just put the 7.3 in it.. but the 6.0 body onto the 7.3 chassis that way you already know the 7.3 works.

Listen to the skip in compression when you’re trying to start it. It’s gonna need a motor. I’d personally swap a Cummins in it and buy the adapter plate to bolt it to the ford transmission. That 7.3 will outlast that that 6.0 any day of the week

The compression sounds good, If the oil aint got coolant or glitter in it, keep it. spray some ether into it to see if starts up. If you have a running 6.0l , I'd replace head bolt for head studs, oem head gaskets , Hi flow egr cooler, after market oil cooler, engine coolant fliter, upgraded FICM, oil filter relocation, oem coolant reservoir cap.

Well I'll put it like this you better if you were doing a rebuild going to the junkyard and finding you a diesel 6.0 that's running and swap that I'm sorry I got to agree with Quan that truck is too nice to rip it apart scuff mark I'm sorry I got it I got to take it in the shop and let them tell me I'm quite sure the company you used to work for has a diesel mechanic shop that they dealt with put it up keeping them diesel trash trucks they probably just trying to get the guy's truck Lottery and companies like that my 94 when I got it I took it to a shop can I asked me what was I going to do with the truck I told him I was going to keep it you can get you some tires from the junkyard I took $2,000 get all the repairs done that I needed tires in a couple other things take me back to the inspection shop dad didn't even do a full inspection on you looked at it so that I did everything that need to be done did all of the ball joints I can't remember everything that was wrong with the truck but whatever was wrong with it I had it fixed show me give you the same advice I would give myself I would look at every option in the book before I get rid of that truck I even look at the option of replacing the engine not trying to be funny but if you can do a LS swap why can't you do a swap with that truck and if the engine is bad swapping with a better diesel engine well first things first let's see what's wrong with it rooting for you Quan

Humble Creek Square with you on this man if you got a dead engine I take the engine out that white truck first before I get rid of that truck I mean in all honesty or you can do it another KZbinr Dead with his Ford go get you a Cummins and drop in it I can't remember the name of his channel but he bought a crew cab Fort dually with a blown diesel engine and he didn't want to fight with the engine if I'm not mistaken you put it three valve Cummins in it and it turned out better than anything turn down so darn good what do you wind up doing was he went and bought a brand new Ford crew cab dually put all that stuff on the engine the new truck blew up within months I need to take it back to the dealer so he sold the truck back to the dealer we're home what does swap what's the Cummins in the Ford he said he couldn't be happier with it because it that Cummins engines it didn't have quit and its vocabulary any halls with it houses race cars I wouldn't say that truck the truck apart for nothing if it came down to it I think it comes in that I don't know if the white truck in that going are the same in at the same diesel engine but like you say you got options

6.0 is similar powerwise to the beast if they run right, same vgt style turbo etc, need to check for oil pressure first thing, if won't fire if it doesn't see enough

First thing I do is check the starter to see if the starter ain't gone bad but on the real side of things if the engine is locked up in a gold one you better off taking the engine out of the white one sticking it in the gold one instead of the white one nice interior that would be the one that I keep that's right I'm not a Ford guy but I keep that but I am a truck guy look at that starter first make sure it's the problem before you do anything

I'm with the wife . I would take it and have your diesel guy look at it . That way you have the beast,the white 250,and this truck . That way at some point you have the beast for the 24 foot or possibly a 2 car like you mentioned in the last video and have this truck as the main truck and put Bray or the wife in the white truck (when and if that day comes) . And the roll ba k could be for those more around town tows . I dont know just my opinion. But like you said options. Honestly if that crew cab runs it could bring some good money to put elsewhere in the business
