The stringy plant could also be horned bladderwort. Which is also carnivorous, like the suggestion someone else said also. And very much as hard to get rid of as duckweed

Best thing about aquarium plant/fish unboxing is the hitchhikers but i am wierd like that

Honestly I am too... lol. I've gotten some really interesting stuff, and as long as they aren't leaches or diseases, its a fun game I'm happy to play 😂

That string plant is likely the carnivorous utricularia.

In hindsight, I agree. For the price and health of the plants, it was definitely a better value than I gave it credit for! Definitely on par with major aquarium plants sellers.
