There is no comparison between this product and actual converter and battery in same rating (except wattage cause in big home inverter you can get up to 600 - 1000 w……

What???? An inverter is not necessary. We're talking about portable electronics that run on 5V/12V/20V DC...so there's plenty of ways to power these with just the DC battery voltage if you know what you are doing. If you are buying a powerbank in 2023 that doesn't have USB Power Delivery then you deserve to get smacked. 5V 2A is dinosaur technology. Your powerbank would ideally have MORE USB C ports than anything else. No need for micro USB and just one USB A port (that has fast charging protocols like QC 3.0 or whatever Asian phone brands use USB A for their fast charging protocol). Even with QC 3.0 it is possible to get 20V but a lot of devices seem to only provide 5, 9 and 12V which is silly. If you have access to QC 3.0 20V then all you need is a QC3.0 trigger which can be had for a few dollars (and that's a nice one that has dip switches or a button with LEDS that allow you to select the voltage you are trying to trigger). Since the vast majority of laptops have power adapters that clearly say 19.5V X.XXA then 20V is close enough to work and so long as you can get a decent amount of current out of that port it should be enough to charge an idling laptop or even cover the energy consumed under light loads like internet browsing while still putting something in the battery. USB C is obviously superior in so many ways. We already have the beginnings of PD 3.1 which gives us 140W, 180W, and 240W by upping the voltage from a previous max of 20V to 28V, 36V and 48V. The latter two are still a little ways away but the 28V PDO is available on several powerbanks. The number of powerbanks that have the 20V PDO at 5A is now too high to count and they can be had for under $100 in many instances. 20V 5A is going to be enough for just about any basic laptop and the only ones that will need more than that are the top tier gaming laptops....hopefully the 48V PDO can solve that with its 240W output. Again a simple USB PD Trigger (similar to the QC3.0 one and in some cases one device will trigger PD or QC) can give you 20V and whatever amperage the powerbank is capable of outputting. 3.25A or 65W powerbanks are significantly cheaper and come in around the $50 mark now. The 5A powerbanks are a little more costly and do require you have a special USB C cable that is often marked in some way as having a E-Marker (a special chip that lets the "source" device know that it is ok to output over 60W). With the rise of PD 3.1 and 240W capable cables coming out way before 240W is even available this has driven the price of 100W/5A cables with E-markers down so far its crazy to think just 2 years ago I was shopping for 100W cables and thrilled to find some on Amazon in the $10 price range. Now you can find those very same cables on Aliexpress for just a few dollars. Even the higher end UGreen, Baseus, Anker, etc cables are right at the $10 mark....but to be honest with 240W cables just a few dollars more it makes no sense to buy cables that might be obsolete in just a few years. If you're going to buy USB C cables now, look for ones that are rated for 240W and have decent data speeds. It can be quite a shitshow understanding the labeling for the data speeds but currently I believe they max out a 40Gbps and 20Gbps cables I find to be the most reasonably priced. Lots of fakes so it does pay to spend a few dollars more and get a brand name that actually has a reputation to uphold. I am a big fan of UGreen, I think they offer a top tier product at a competitive price that is often half of Anker. UGreen also has a large lineup of chargers from your standard 20W USB C charger to the larger 200W desktop chargers with multiple ports that allow you to have a Macbook Pro, an Iphone 14 Pro Max, your Apple watch, your Airpods and your wife's Iphone 14 Pro Max ALL FAST CHARGING. Yeah those desktop chargers are a little pricey and I can show you how to make your own 400W desktop charger with 4 USB C ports and 4 USB A ports (4 channels each having a USB A and C, you can only use one of those two to get fast charging) for about $50 or less depending on whether or not you want to put it in a box and if you happen to have a power source for it already in the form of laptop power adapters, printer power adapters, or even computer power supplies. It is a buck only module meaning if you want 20V PD you need to be inputting over 20V so series connecting some 12V power adapters is the way to go....or in my cases series connecting two server power supplies that are 460W each so a total of 920W meaning double the power necessary to run the board at full throttle. A lot of people would never run the board at full throttle so a 24V 10A power adapter would suit them just fine. The board even has a barrel jack input (5.5mmx2.5mm) soldered on to it so you dont have to do ANYTHING to get it going besides plugging in a power adapter. (Cost is Board $19, Electronics Project Box $10, Power Source $20 to ??? depending on what you want to do) I might go ahead and put together the one board I have right now in a box with lithium batteries to make it the worlds fastest powerbank in terms of available output power....I'm sure someone has done the same thing as I've seen this board used on a bunch of Aliexpress products. There is one shop on Aliexpress that has an 800W desktop charger....that could be powered by a battery so technically they already won.
