Keep in mind that alot of sellers on sites like amazon, temu, aliexpress etc, are dropshipper sites, they will allow anyone to sell goods and often its products that will unlist and relist products if a terrible manufacturer defect or other issues are spotted. this is currently being an issue with an automatic cat litter that quite literally has killed a few pets so far. unrelated but using this video to spread awareness on this issue. not sure what can be done to stop it but if it helps even one pet be saved, ill take it.

YOu may have done this already, just off camera where we didn't see it...check the remote and make sure it doesn't have one of those little then plastic clear tabs in it; they keep the batteries from being run down while the remote is in storage. I've bought several remote control candles and votives that have those, and they are so easy to miss and so unnoticeable that I've often thought the remote didn't work. Once I found and removed that, everything worked fine. If it doesn't have one, the remote may need new batteries, which is always a possibility with anything that is shipped with the batteries already in the item.

I got the first toy with the running lure and can confirm it’s awesome!! Quite possibly the best toy I ever gotten. Other electronic toys can only hold my cats’ attention for maybe an hour or two before they get bored of it. My cats have been non stop obsessed with this thing for two days straight! I love that it’s so customizable too. You can vary up the layout and attach different kind of lures to it.

Not sure if this was mentioned but some of those pet heating pads only work when there is weight on them, like an animal or we sometimes put a pillow on ours to warm to up (takes like 15-20 minutes) for our cat. It's for safety so it isn't hot when nothing is on it. Of course it also is possible that it just doesn't work either. I was worried about buying a random brand for a pet heat pad so I went with a well known brand K & H.

I only use the 1 star reviews to determine if i should buy something or not. That way you usually get more honest opinions and you learn the worst case senario and can determine yourself if the product is still worth it

Unavailable isn't necessarily a bad thing. Just means that might have sold out. I bought a computer case and I guess the one model I bought was just more successful than the others. Too bad about the cat warming bed. It looks beautiful online.

The issue I see with the octopus is the googly eyes. That's a choking hazard for a cat. And yikes on the cat feather car thing. That's an eye poking hazard.

@@AnamKhan-xx8ci Yes!. All cat toys with eyes, you want them to be sewn with needle and thread. Felt is probably okay, but I prefer just sewn flat to the object or no eyes at all. Or just the little closed eyes sewn in. Anything that is glued on is in danger of being pulled off by an active cat and becoming a danger.

Companies sell the stuff with googly eyes or with eyes made of beads (which are also bad even if sewn on because they can still be pulled off) because it looks cute to humans. But you've got to think about your cats like toddlers. If they could pull it off and swallow it if the toy comes apart, it's bad. Also beware the knock off robot litter boxes. There's this kind that keeps changing its branding that acts like a cat guillotine. So if you go for an automatic litter box, examine it so you don't get one that operates with closing doors like that. Keep your little lovebug safe! :)

Careful with bells on toys. My cat got a claw caught in a bell and was pulling on it and was limping. I took him to the vet and from pulling on it hurt his leg.

One of my cats three kittens got its claw stuck in one that was attached to the top of the cage. We got her out and removed the bell to prevent her from hanging from her paw at the top of the cage again (she sounded so miserable too😭)

I have gripes with the hanging toy. A cat could get caught in the string and suffocate if it gets wrapped around their neck. They could hurt themselves. So I'd avoid hanging toys like that. But Kurt was adorable and he deserves all the best toys. I thoroughly enjoyed this

that door hang toy is pretty bad for a number of reasons actually. 1. door hang toys are dumb. they're doorways, you go in and out of doorways. they're significant areas and you don't want to teach your cat to just be going in and out of doorways whenever they want to. like maybe you don't care but maybe you do. maybe they treat this doorway the same way they treat the front door and then boom, your cat tries to bolt every time you open it because they want outside. doorways are not to be trifled with in terms of territorial importance and potential problems with it. why would you hang a toy there? 2. what is the payoff for the cat? its like a laser pointer, they pursue and pursue and never get anything out of it. theres no real reward and itll entertain them for maybe 15 minutes and then what?. theres no point other than you being lazy and not _actually_ playing with your cat. and them losing interest and never touching it again is the _best_ case scenario. 3. the danger of string. I know cats love string but it can be so dangerous. what if they get caught up on it while youre not watching it and hurt their claws trying to yank themselves loose? what if they pull it down and eat that string? what if it breaks and they eat the string or any part of the fuzzy bits? thats vet bills and possibly -1 cat. if youre gonna have a pet, play with the damn pet, dont set up automatic toys that are just going to end up chewed apart and swallowed because you arent watching them. it seems like Abram is decently attentive with Kurt, but that absolutely can not be said for every pet owner.

The heating bed will take awhile to heat up, there are actually devices similar to this for people and I have a bed heater and basically it takes up to an hour to fully heat

There's a really kind of fishy thing that some sellers on both Walmart and Amazon do. You'll find a product with no reviews, order it, hoping the product works and think you might be the first person to give said product a review. When in reality, you're probably not even the thousandth person to review the product. But why are their no reviews if that's the case? You or someone else will no doubt ask. It's because the seller deletes the reviews. There's a few marketplace sellers on Walmart, that I have written down on a do not buy from list. If a product shows up and it's being sold by them, I simply won't purchase it from them. Because they're actually drop shipper stores. And they're notorious for deleting reviews, positive or negative, they don't let a review stay. Why Walmart or possibly even Amazon allows them to continue using their sales services for these cheap knockoff/ bootleg products nobody knows and neither Walmart or Amazon seems to care. Don't believe me? Look up an 1TB Micro SD card, find the cheapest of the bunch. And if you're lucky, it's actually a 64GB SD card, that's been formatted with a program to make it report as 1TB.

our cats LOVE their octopus toys the best. idk about Kurt's, but the ones from petco have real rabbit fur inside the head. The first one we gave them lasted about 3 hours, they went crazy and decimated it. They are probably unavailable bc they are drop-shipped. The shippers list bundles of goods they get by buying pallets of merch cheap bc half the pallet is damaged or missing or rejected or w/e.

Sometimes products with no reviews are actually goated, it's just a gamble tbh. The first reviewers probably felt the same way lol. 1:09 I'd say be careful with cat products for your cat tho, check things yourself first, the insides could hurt them, they could choke on a part easily, be burned, or something could even k!ll them. I saw a popular product going around that was actually k!lling and hurting peoples cats :( I wouldn't buy any 0 review or 1 star products or even 5 star stuff for any living thing without reading reviews and researching first. Just spreading awareness! :)
