Amazing video! I follow the hobby decently close and i didnt even know about the shotgun style one. Also i haven't seen reviews from the biggest nerf channels on some of these. I would recommend getting a chronograph tho because its a much more accurate way of telling how hard its firing. For example the old elite stuff had an average of 70fps but these new ones i think have an average of 80-90 which is a lot better. Also a lot of the dart design was made to make them as good as possible while still legally puting 8+ on the box. The new nerf pro line doesn't need to do that so those blasters are looking REALLY good. Also speaking of that a dart zone pro video would be really cool :)

Chronograph readings aren't much use unless you're comparing like for like. Lighter darts shoot faster than heavy darts out of the same blaster, but speed isn't a good indicator of range or accuracy when comparing different darts. As for Dartzone, they have extremely limited availability outside of the USA, a dozen or so specialised outlets worldwide that will sell via mail order, if they have the one you want. You can't find them in big retail chains where you typically find NERF and X-Shot. In the UK there are zero suppliers, so they're hard to get hold of, and international shipping makes Dartzone very expensive and uncompetitive.

The Pinpoint doesn't need onboard dart storage, unlike the Eaglepoint it's mag fed so you can just swap the whole magazine. I assume they'll release magazines sold separately soon because only having one mag kinda defeats the purpose, I think they really should have included 2

I ended up buying the shotgun, the N-Series Strike back, despite Jack here saying not to, and honestly it's not too bad. It's basically the N-series version of the Ultra 3, with a better design and slightly tougher priming. It's good especially if you can get it on sale later on

Nice video man, though, something that has bothered me in this video is the fact that you dont seem to have too much experience with nerf blasters since its a pretty basic thing for a jolt like blaster to overfire, theyre incredibly powerfull for their size and its something i always take in account when firing one. Same with the pinpoint, sure it has a scope but as you said you cant depend on it too much, the scopes as usual are just for decorations and really dont help with the overal aiming, atleast from my experience. Now, i do thing the cost of these blasters should be mentioned more, sure, the commander is a good blaster but for its price its better to go back one more and just pick up a disruptor whilst this new agility comes in at about half the price of either of those, thats it main selling point plus ofcourse the priming handle. Except for those points its a really good video and a new take on the N-series compared to alot of other youtubers so keep it going!!!

When you comment about the N Series not offering anything over the older designs, you're forgetting one important thing. 😉 Availability. This situation is common to almost every type of product at some point, from cars to ice lollies. Manufacturers stop making the old products, so once the stocks are gone from major retailers, people looking to buy won't be able to buy the old models. The majority of people will just buy what is on store shelves etc.

Idk I am actually optimistic about this line for some reason, the new darts design allows them to be fired at a higher velocity without hurting as much as a elite dart would fired at that same high velocity which is great for younger nerfers, I like the kind of retro nerf aesthetic too it seems like nerf is trying to in sense go back to its roots almost. They are continuing the pro line which is good. Yes dart zone is better but honestly this could have some potential for nerf

In conclusion, these are more for children size. adult can play but its more of the same thing as the existing nerf lines with the same function. i wont be investing into a whole new ecosystem. The ultra was not that successful. The mega is fun but also expensive. Smyth’s Toys has a lot of them, I got the rest from Amazon.com. Amazon can be good for blasters not normally available in the UK, the delivery costs a lot but they sort out all the importing, etc so it’s very simple.

I'd be interested to know where in the UK you can buy them off the shelf. There are no official distributors in the UK. Unlike Nerf and X-Shot, which sit on store shelves everywhere, outside of the USA, Dartzone have extremely limited availability. A dozen or so individual locations worldwide. That means international shipping, extra cost and quite honestly a lot of hassle.

The N series was just released here Downunder 3 days ago on the 4th of July. I kept telling myself earlier not to go crazy because I found the color scheme too water gun and styled like baby toy. Yet I am too weak to resist and end up buying them all in 3 days from 3 major department chain stores (Target, Kmart and Big W). Too bad the Pinpoint alone is still 2 months away and no mention of Strike Back anywhere. Instead we get the top prime 8 dart internal clip Shadow Storm. Odd to see the top priming handle is small and slippery plus the spring is overly stiff which makes priming difficult. Also every shot is banging extremely loud with resonance like crazy. Yet the speed is lack lusting at low 80s. I wonder why. The Infinity is the only one breaking 90 fps. The two revolvers are making high 80s. The light blue Flex is the weakest doing mid 70s. Dark blue Flex is a few fps better but still under 80. The Sprinter with the help of one 3.7v Lipo in the mix can do mid 90s. If I can choose again I will buy just 3, the Sprinter, Infinity and Agility. The rest is forgettable. BTW I found a simple trick to fix the Ward by putting some sticky tape inside the edge of second barrel to grip the dart better so it won't pop out and lost power again. Looking forward to seeing your detail reviews of them all.

The Ward has a smart air restrictor that occasionally is just a dumb ar,happens with the cheap alphastrike tiger too and the agility is literally the 50th maverick clone except with a new dart and dart rights management? I guess that works since drm usually means digital rights management oh and look another jolt,the flex is just another jolt reskin and trust me THERE IS A TON,the microshots? All jolt reskins alphastrike stinger and the elite 2.0 thing in the video that i don't even remember the name of,also jolt reskin I'd say,unless you want to deal with these only slight improvement darts that are only compatible with these things and nothing else DON'T GET THEM,at the very least with nerf elite darts you can get ones that are better from other brands,with this,nerf only Also i don't really like the way these look either so its definitely a pass for me.

Why? That tells you the muzzle velocity, which doesn't really help unless you're comparing like for like darts and blasters. It's like measuring the 0 to 60 time of a car... it gives you no indication of real world use.

N-Series is cool but tbh I still prefer blasters that shoot Elite Darts like the Nerf Elite, Modulus etc using Waffle Head Darts.

But the majority of Nerf buyers just buy a blaster that their kids think is cool, along with a load of extra darts as and when necessary. Like it or not, adults and hobbyists aren't the target audience for N Series. People buying their first foam blaster don't care what went before, they're only interested what is on the shelves in the big retail outlets. In most of the world, that boils down to Nerf and X-Shot. Dartzone aren't contenders because of extremely limited availability outside of the USA. Maybe a dozen or so specialist shops worldwide, some that do international mail order. None in the UK at all.

Allow me to explain all of the issues with these that nerf seems to have ignored entirely with this whole line (as well as some extra bits and bobs). The ward: The smart Ar thing comes form the dart deformation. The little nub at the back that interfaces with the smart ar deforms arfter two shots. You'll notice it doesn't happen with fresh out the box darts. The agility: Yeah it's a strong arm.. there's hundreds of them The pinpoint: It's not unique... it's a retaliator with a slightly bigger plunger tube. It's a good modder but it's not worth buying... especially compared to the eagle point or something like the Baize s200s if you want a decent nerf sniper The gear up pack: I think you can actually swap the cylinder from the agility to the bolt action one and get better performance... but it does just turn it into an eagle point... so buy an eaglepoint or the alphahawk Strike back: Honestly the only one I'm really considering here The sprinter: It's a rayven fire that shoot n1... buy a motoblitz The infinite: This blaster uses a sealed breech system. the dart head touch the sides of the barrel and friction causes that inconsistency. The magazine is amazing. The blaster is a actually really good. It's the garbage darts that make it fire poorly. Conclusion? Yeah I agree with you. this line would be mid if it used elite darts but instead they use this n1 crap. Don't buy this. Buy an Xshot or dartzone thing. Better performance, accuracy, build quality all at a similar or lower price.
