In the Netherlands there is a guy who makes mystery boxes for 80€, with minimum worth 65€. Also 70% had more value then 80€, like UPCs etc.

I'm wondering about grades cards. doesnt the grading usually cost between 15-40$ itself? I think on PSA the cheapest you can grade is 40$ per card no matter what card it is So maybe to all that mystery packs that have graded cards when u count up that value u get a bit closer to your investing

As someone who currently WORKS at Walmart, I'm glad you decided to go the standard route to be safe. The one with four packs seems reasonable, since each pack is worth around $5 at retail stores, at least In my opinion it seems like that.

Yup, never buy from 2nd and 3rd party on Wal-Marts site, gotchya. Thanks for the heads up. I wouldn't anyways. I stick with eBay. A lot of times it takes me a month to find a good deal or win a cheaper bid. But if the seller doesn't like the winning bid, they just cancel your bid and relish immediately.

If I was gonna do the mystery boxes I think I'd just stick to the MJ Holding ones as I at least know (roughly) how those are made. Not really a big fan of hand made ones most of the time unless they're from people I know are reputable!

151 is my "get back into the hobby" set. the UPC was my first Pokémon card purchase in probably 20 years and second pack i pulled charizard ex! i was roped right back in lol!

Walmart has always been my Pokémon card hunting grounds since it was the closest place I had as a kid (yay to growing up in the middle of nowhere). But ngl after watching that one Walmart documentary, I always felt horrible. Thankfully I’ve now moved to a place with plenty of card stores and a Costco where I can do my hunting instead!
