Hi, I decided to order them after watching your video. I just received my order a day after I placed it, and they came healthy. I’m not sure, but maybe it’s your acclamation method, the water pressure from the stock tub is probably too much for them to handle, they’re very delicate especially as babies. When I got mine, I only filled the tank to 1/10 capacity and slowly added more water throughout the week. None of mine died so I hope this helps. Good luck :)

I don't know what your temperature is but where I live you wouldn't put them in a tub outside until they transitioned to your water and any disease/ parasites were gone

Do you use a heater for them during winter? It’s my first winter with my hundred gallon DIY pond and so far they’re doing good it gets down to about 50° here and there still eating I just wanted to know if I should get a heater for my ranchu and butterfly telescope goldfish! What do you suggest?

Yes I do have a heater and I cover the pond with a piece of green house double wall poly. It doesn’t have to cover the whole thing cause it helps direct the sun to heat the pond a bit more I had to ice all winter with that combo

I bought 5 assorted ranchu 2 weeks ago from the same seller (I'm sure) and all are looking pretty well. Treated them with general cure. 1 has a straight tail which is not normal for a ranchu and my tiny black ranchu has a curled gill. I'm pretty happy with this deal. Previously I bought 5 assorted ranchu through ebay. All died within 3 days. Dumb thing is I didn't quarantine them and they had ich and cotton disease. They gave the ich to my other gold fish. Luckily I didn't lose any of my others. Needless to say I always quarantine not just my salt water fish but fresh water fish as well.

I’ve ordered a few fish from Amazon... 1 seller has been great- he also includes little goodies .. just a hit or miss on getting a good seller- shipping itself with Covid has been all whacked out.... 1 order (luckily not live) was coming from Washington (Aquarium Co-Op) to be exact, now we’re in Montana... should of only taken a short time... but took 2 weeks or so... reason being it ended up all way in S.C 🤷‍♀️ there’s a huge difference on location there ....
