Today I am trying out some of the worlds smallest mini art supplies! I found these on real mini world and they actually work. Real oil paints, canvas, crayola crayon miniatures and more. The mini brands are a super viral thing on the internet these days and it took me a while to find art supplies..so here they are!

I would love to see you do a series with the dollhouse 😁 my parents have some -- they were heavily into miniatures for many years. They both bought from other artisans and made/built their own beautiful items and houses. I bought and made the occasional thing for them as well. I even made them family photo albums in miniature!

In case no one else has recommended it: if you're getting into miniatures, you might enjoy the Canadian TV show "Best In Miniature"! It's a friendly competition show in the style of Great British Bake Off, but for artists who specialise in miniatures! It airs on CBC and is also available on their website for free, but I'm unsure if the show is region-locked. Hopefully you'll be able to access it, if you're interested in watching!

I carry mini colored pencils with sharpener and eraser, mini pens, and mini water colors with travel brushes where the handle holds water and a piece of paper folded into a 4-fold book on me at ALL TIMES. I just brought them out at my nephews birthday party. I painted a flower while my car was nearly blowing up on the side of the freeway, and they make any dinner date fun!! Draw something, play the dot Gane, play hangman!

I really, REALLY want to watch you build your dolls house Chloe. I had a dolls house back when I was a little girl of around 6yo, and when ever I see a dolls house now it takes me straight back in my mind to the happy days I spent playing with mine. My mother found my one broken in pieces in a skip, which someone had thrown away, and Xmas was coming, and she had very little money for presents for me and my siblings, so she took all the pieces of the broken dolls house home, and she rebuilt it. She put in wallpaper, carpet, and curtains. She bought some furniture and some tiny dolls in all different sizes with what little cash she had, and I was given the repaired, and renovated dolls house on Christmas Day. I have never loved anything more to be honest. It's one of my fondest memories of my mother, telling me how she decorated in colours I would like, and how she replaced the glass in the windows, and the hinges on the front panel. I was so grateful and I can remember her eyes full of tears because she was moved by the fact that I loved it so much. I am sure that lots of little girls had dolls houses and have very happy memories of playing with them. Such happy, carefree days. Have a great weekend Chloe. God bless you and your new husband.

Hullo Chloe, I got my very first Art JOB painting pictures for the doll houses my Grandfather was making for my sister and cousins! I did not use Mini art supplies, but I did use very fine brushes to work on the details of the paintings I created on regular sized paper and then cut to size on the dollhouse walls! I love watching Ara over on Bentley House Minis! She creates the most amazing miniature houses and total environments too! She created an actual Addams House that was displayed in a local museum! (She is currently creating a Beetlejuice House!) I am not sure the mini supplies are for creating Art but why not? I hope you go look at Ara's channel and get some ideas for creating a dollhouse and video series too! There are so many other mini oriented furniture and everything that goes into a well apportioned Home!

I have real in size candles in my dollhouse. impractical because open fire and 40 seconds lighting time. but they are real.

I think it would be really cool if you bought beginner kits for different types of hobbies and rated their beginner friendliness. Sculpey sells beginner kits for sculpting as an example.

I would make mini things for my stuffed animals when I was a kid. I'm glad this site didn't exist when I was in that phase 😂 Doll House series! But you have to make all the decorations with mini tools 😂😂

I want to watch you build the dollhouse. If you want to get into miniatures check out Bentley House Minis. She's so cool. She's got some free projects you can do either by hand cutting or using a cricut (I've done both). She's one of the best, made her own mini Addams Family house. She teaches you how to use cheap things to make minis. Once you start watching her it's hard to stop. One day I'm going to buy a dollhouse kit and go wild.

I don't know where my folks got them, but I remember when I was a little little kid, my folks got me a set of crayons and a watercolor set that both came in really small metal tins. They weren't THIS small, as they were made for using, not looking, but they weren't like.... THAT much larger.

This stuff looks excellent for probably a 1:12 (or 1:6 for the pallet) scale action figures or dolls. I’m especially thinking of the dreamhighstudio micro bjd fairies and goblins and stuff

They have a small line called "Real Littles Craft" and they're small DIY kits in bitty caboodle looking boxes in the blind bag sections of some stores like Walmart, Target, etc- there's 6 in total right now, from snow globes, to color your own mini backpack, to small paint sets.
