I see your _Nepenthes_ in the left of the frame… is that living in semi-hydro? I want to try converting some carnivorous species to Pon. I know most people grow carnivorous plants in pure moss or coco fiber, and use distilled or reverse osmosis water only, but I am thinking Pon would be a good idea. Especially because these species hate drying out, and will die immediately! 😂 Idk, it seems like semi-hydro would solve those problems, just be sure to not use any nutrients. Because that’s the main requirement they have compared to most plants… poor soil but very pure water! I have a sundew that I bought, and I’ve grown them before, but this is the longest time I’ve ever owned one. I don’t wanna f*ck it up. Lol.

It's on Perlite and Sphagnum! Nepenthes are weird they want to stay moist but not wet or too dry, that's why the self watering works, I don't let it touch the media but a wick and evaporation helps. I had a sundew that invaded everything outdoors and I had to pluck them like weeds🤣😭 so haven't gotten any more, but my Venus Fly traps that I grew from seed and still going strong
