Well depending on the pet's behavior that's very reasonable. This is a job for some people and a pet can easily ruin things like knocking stuff over, destroying products, etc which both would ruin the filming and possibly hurt them. As for kids it's weird to just record your kids faces and put it all over the internet for no reason, and of course like pets kids can destroy stuff and ruin the filming or hurt themselves.
