Great video! We need more content helping us identify fakes! The clasp on the original Presage is a butterfly. The clasp on your Presage is a standard push button deployment clasp. I couldn't see if the crown was stamped. If not, that would be a clear giveaway as well. Did you keep the watch? If so, how's it running? You might want to get the Presage authenticated... It might be real. If not, it's a solid fake.

So, do you think it's worth buying the fake presage for a fraction of the price? I really want a presage but it'll be a long while before I'm able to afford a legitemate one. Is there any areas of the watch that is an obvious sign of a fake or low quality craftmanship?

jimi lowe nah trust, buy the real one, you just can’t wear it and appreciate it cause it’s not real. Find a presage you like then work hard doing anything you can to afford it. Once you buy it you’ll appreciate it and love it. The feeling of working hard for something and buying it is much more satisfying then buying a fake

Ngl I’ve got a 100% authentic presage (ssa343j1) and that presage from wish looks bang on from a quick glance, even the movement looks like an actual seiko rotor , obvs the other one was clearly fake but like the presage honestly looked kinda legit

They are more or less like Frankenstein watches, the movement is Seiko (Seiko movements are cheap) But the case and bracelet is fake. So all in all, its a good item to do a Seiko mod with a Nato strap and another dial :)

I’d be very interested in knowing what movements they use for these watches. Makes you wonder if the movements are genuine but the rest fake? It’s disappointing they sell these because then a lot of the ones on eBay could be fake for all we know! Goes to show, don’t buy second hand and only from reputable sources!

Yeah man, the black faced ones such a trash fake but the presage is very very interesting. It is fake but sometimes I see it in one of my containers full of random stuff and I pick it up and look closely to see if I can spot something that I might not have before. I’m gonna be honest, the only tell tell sign is that the brand name engraving looks the slightest bit off. I thought that this model (SRPB47J) used sapphire crystal glass but it doesn’t so there wouldn’t be an engraving on the back mentioning the glass type.

I wonder if the insides would look much different? Would be interesting to see a real and a fake opened up side by side! If the fakes are that good then I wonder how many on eBay are fake, no one would suspect a thing! After seeing this video all my future watches are gonna be bought from trusted sellers and jewellers now! Cheers

I'm very disappointed in your review. Not because I've bought, nor am I planning to buy, from wish. But because I was looking at bullet points. 1. What movements are used in either. 2. What glass is it? 3. What type of stainless steel? Those are clear decision metrics for picking a watch product, prize notwithstanding. You've just used feelings and opinions!

Bro I know I'm asian but I'm not a scientist. It literally says quality stainless steel. Glad? wtf is glad. went to the effort of searching it up and it came up with "Gay andLesbian Advocates and Defenders" which is cool and all but don't see the connection it has to watches. thirdly. The steel I actually completely forgot to mention so i apologise. The movement is actually a cal.2109 Twin turbo Carbon Nang Offset ligma balls steel.

I'm sure everybody knows wish is Chinese and they're great at counterfeits. it's like selling reverse addidas shirts logos and getting away with it. And hope you're aware the Chinese has been sued a dozen times before for copyrights. in China its legal.

You shouldve bought the seiko diver. And the presage said 4r35 movement in the back and the movement looked like it could be the real thing. Compare it to a real one.

They are selling awful fakes of Seiko 5's for as little as £8.50 with free delivery. They are listed in the mechanical watch section yet they have a quartz movement; do Seiko even do a quartz Seiko 5??? They don't even have the country of manufacture on the dial.. Utter, utter rubbish, totally pointless and shameless behaviour by Joom.
