I Bought Someone's Entire Lego Collection For $300! - My Best Lego Haul Ever!

This is the story behind my best Lego find! I hope you guys enjoy it.

I got Approximately 25 sets that were nearly complete and included all of the minifigs for $40. The best part was finding the Phantom with Thrawn.

@@mugo3457 yep. It was about a 20-25lb tote that was at a garage sale. The kid selling them hadn’t even priced it yet. I asked how much he wanted and he said $10. His mom stepped in and said, “how about $40?” So I said “sure!” before they changed their minds lol. I had reassemble them but it was totally worth it. Also, only 5 or 6 of the sets retailed for $25 or more, with the most expensive one being $50. Most were $10 sets designed for kids. However, small sets can still have great figures!

I went to an antique shop that sold toys like Lego and and hot wheels and spent 23 dollars on 5 vintage figures and a bunch of animals along with accessories. The whole lot ended up being worth more than that because I got 3 rare pigs that cost 41 dollars alone. I got alot of animals and little accessories that were worth a few dollars according to rebrickable.

Bro, last week I found a box of legos in a second-hand store, it originally cost 70 dollars and contained parts of Lego Star Wars and castle, when I wanted to buy it the lady in the cashier gave me a discount for the box and reduced it to 30 dollars, she was very nice, I don’t lie to you the box was huge and for the price it was worth seeing what things its had. In the end I was atonic when I found a minifigure of the fox commander complete and in good condition, but when I realized it I had a different torso from the others, that minifigure is a rarity and today it has a value of more than 700 dollars💀

All my best Lego hauls were at goodwill and this is where I got most of my older sets including the barracuda ship the original yellow castle and many other rare sets.

Got the ghost, krennics shuttle and tie striker for $450. All figs were included in great condition! Resold the ghost to make my money back and now get a bunch of cool figs to play with!

My story is the first time I got a millennium falcon I was over at a friends house. It was a whole family thing my family and their family we went inside and they showed me their millennium falcon set that they said they dropped and never got around to rebuilding. It and by this time they didn’t really like Lego so they gave it to me for free.

That much lego is not worth thousands topically your looking at $15 per KG of lego, $300 is good if its full of valuable parts and sets. I payed £100 for a haul that had about 20 KG lego and ontop of that had over 100 starwars troopers, and other stuff including 50 battle droids and 10 different astromech droids. The value of that haul is easily worth over £1000.

@@bradsbrickpost I would recommend moving away from the fast paced heavily sound effected videos. Obviously if it’s working for you and you enjoy it but I really enjoy your older videos such as the crusty crab moc and this one.

I'm sorry you don't enjoy the newer style with the fast edits and sound effects. I do enjoy it though and I think it's fun creating the stories around the mocs. This is my job full time, and right now, the videos with the hyper edited style/storytelling/sound effects get the most views for me, and I need that to support my family and the channel. If you want slower paced content, then traditional channels like Bricksie, MandR, and more recently Brick Crafts are good options!
