Okay so the red heels in the very first bag are Christian Louboutins - even the used ones retain their value, especially if the red bottom isn’t scuffed off and it comes with dust bags. These can resell (if authentic) for around $650-$800 resell.

That looks like a reseller storage unit. I hit all the clearance sales and stores going out of business and my apartment looks like that . I’ve got tubs and tubs of clearance items that are literally 95% off and/or just a penny . Sometimes free.

Simple trick for even storing boots, I use tubes from paper towels or wrapping paper rolls. For you get pool noodles and cut to different sized for your photos or storing

I would take everything from the storage unit load it up, And sort everything out Once you get home Less bending up and down less back ache. Your picking up, then putting it down, to see the contents, then picking back up to get it out of the way, then picking it back up to load for transport..! 😱 At least at home You can put everything in a higher table And you will save your body from Aches and pains. 🤔 By the way fantastic purchase, fantastic finds. 👍

We solved the problem of "walking forks". Spoons, in our case. We have a tradition of offering soiled plates to the chickens and dog before washing them. They like it, we get relatively clean plates to wash. (by hand) We stopped losing silverwear. And not so much garbage to haul. Win/Win

yard sale! yard sale! (if you postpone it, it'll only get harder to set up) i would not be able to attend one in september since i made plans for each weekend. (saturdays 1 and 2, flea market. saturday 3, library book sale. saturday 4, my ride is going to a wedding out of state) whatever day you decide, try to give a date at least a week in advance. gives people more time to plan around it. i've been wanting to go for a while, but i can't plan a day around that area if i only have 5 days notice. if you set items out over a longer course of days, (say prep for 2 weeks instead of 1) the work load per day might be lighter, and it'll allow you to give more notice. I missed the march one because my ride already had plans for that entire weekend. i missed the one before that because of lack of sufficiant notice to plan around. i live a couple hours away, so i need enough notice to plan a day trip around the area. i'd even ignore my aversion to being filmed just to attend.

I believe that purchasing stolen goods is a crime itself and all those items need to be turned in. The tags have UPC codes so they can be traced back to where they came from. By now it's all been written off by the insurance co's but can be accounted for and reclaimed to be resold after that. This process costs all of us in the long run by being passed down to the consumer in higher retail prices. Most co's charge a 1/3 over to compensate for higher insurance premiums they pay. Someday there will be no stores to buy from and everything you buy will be sold online so shoplifting will exist no more. You need to think about it but you will lose your money in turning it in. That's why some people pass up units like that one. Good luck and consider how brick and mortar stores are closing at a alarming rate due to all the stealing going on...just words of wisdom for you both. Thanks for sharing.

I have purchased things from Macy's and other department stores only to get home and have the security tags still on them. Not a big deal as I went back to the stores and they removed them. My daughter even got a gift from her grandmother, who lived in another state, that had a security tag on it from Macy's. This happens more often than you would think especially if you purchase many clothing items at the same time.
