You make a fair few assumptions of quality which are within reason, but a few are slightly misinformed. When it hit this time stamp I felt the need to stop and start correcting assumptions. 13:21 - It's unlikely that they purchased music from a media library, but what IS significantly more likely is that at some point the creator or whoever owned the music went bankrupt and that it got bought and added to a media library after the fact. It happens a lot with old lost media and even with popular media like "The Sims 3" for example, it's main theme music is licenced out to dozens of documentaries and series for background music. You need to not make so many assumptions or provocative statements because of an absence of information or understanding of common practices in industries. Old media, especially generic components like audio, get recycled and resold.

How did I know just by looking at his face that the protagonist was going to be named Ken? Serious question. Why was everybody named Ken back then? Edit: OK, so I just googled it and this was the first result 'One of the most common origins of the name Ken is from Japanese culture, where it can be written using several different kanji characters. One variation of the name Ken in Japanese is 拳, which means “fist” or “power.” Another popular kanji combination for the name is 健, which translates to “healthy” or “strong.”' So people probably just liked the sound of it because it correlated with a word that meant something cool in their minds. Like how so many American characters seemed to be named "Max" in the 80's and 90's. "Max" can be short for "Maximilian" but it's also a synonym for "maximum." Homer Simpson basically ruined the name forever with "Max Power" and you really only see it for over-the-top characters like Max Payne nowadays. Speaking of which, "Payne" is another name you only see used when the writer is feeling particularly cute and punny, as with "Major Payne" and "House of Payne." This is a truly a rabbit hole with no bottom

I think the feeling you are describing Kenny is one that I've also felt. It's kind of like 'media loneliness'. It's a sort of melancholy that arrives when you realise that you watching something that no one else has (to your knowledge). It's kind of spooky and sad; that feeling that you can't talk to someone about something. Can't moan, can't gush. It's like if you watched Twin Peaks and you wanted to talk to someone about how amazing it is and there was literally no one else who had seen it. Not even online. Not being able to share an experience with someone can feel very uncanny and it's the reason that MST3K works so well. You feel like you are watching these lost movies with a bunch of friends. Could you imagine what it must have felt like being someone who had seen Manos the Hands of Fate on their own, before MST3K covered it? Pretty fucking lonely I imagine.

That voice crack at "He' The Fighter" was absolutely legendary. 17:15 really DOES sell this as a potential creepypasta. What kind of voice was that anyway?? It sounded like a 14 year old boy in his first acting class trying to sound girly. You can potentially argue that there is less animation effort in this than there is in the average Dingo Pictures cartoon. It's amazing, just watching this video has made me totally forget what quality animation looks like.
