Sur Ron Light Bee X $3,600 Do not buy this from Segway (X160 or X260)! This is a product originally sold by Luna Cycle for over $1k less than the X260. Just like you said during the video, Segway just threw a bunch of money at the production company (Sur Ron) so they can slap their name on it, make bogus range and power claims, and rip people off. Sean, buy the "X260" version from Luna and support an American company. They only charge $100 more than the weaker Segway version you just bought! I've owned 10 street motorcycles, dual sports, and dirt bikes. This bike is amazing and is the most fun I've had on 2 wheels. Been able to take them to local regional parks and trails where I could/would never take a dirt bike. Absolutely worth every penny buying from Luna Cycle. They ship in 2 weeks, their customer support is A1 and they sell extra batteries, parts, and also make all sorts of aftermarket upgrades for the bike. No reason to buy from anywhere else!

@D They were originally exclusively sold in the US by Luna for years, that was the agreement with Sur Ron. Then Segway threw a bunch of cash at Sur Ron so they could undercut that deal. On top of that, Segway claimed they spent "years researching and developing" the X260 and boasted bogus range claims. Everyone in the original community knows all they did was slap their badge on it and make an app. All the people who buy from Segway and join our groups quickly find out they made a mistake buying from them. They paid extra for long shipping times and terrible customer support. Now we hear they're also throwing money at channels and magazines to have them give disingenuous reviews of the bike. All segway does is rebrand other people's products. That's a suron and there is tons of aftermarket support. Buddy of mine rides up some gnarly hills with that thing. You know, they make battery based power packs. Those do substitute for gas generators (albeit limited duration). So since the bike will take a charge while you ride, you could extend the range appreciably by using one of those. I would recommend that you put a rack on the bike vs. the trailer though.
