I have a '95 Previa S/C that I bought new in 1995. 202, 000+ miles and still going strong. I am a trek fan too, license plate holder states "Star Trek Fan Forever, ST/OS, ST/NG, ST/VG and ST/DS9" This van has cost me very little to maintain, except of course the A/C that had to be overhauled last month after all these years. What Hoovie failed to mention was the versatility of the configuration he has. Despite the fold up rear seats, with the middle seat out you can carry 10 - 12 4x8 sheets of drywall or plywood, flat on the floor and still close the rear hatch.... Who needs a pickup of truck if you have a Previa!

"You hear the supercharger and it is directly underneath you." No, actually the forward facing driveline drives not only the accessories but also the SC14 Supercharger. The supercharger is nestled right in the middle of all the accessories up front under the hood. It's held up by a big heavy cast iron bracket. There's even a small intercooler underneath the airbox, about 12 to 14 inches tall by about 10 inches wide, with the normal plastic end tanks that oem's use on intercoolers. I robbed the supercharger off of ours before sending it the junkyard to swap out the nearly identical but slightly smaller SC12 supercharger that was on my first gen SC MR2. I wanted to keep the previa but all at once the slider got stuck and engine blew, and was too much at the time for me to deal with in an apartment. With a little banging of the firewall the stock supercharger from the previa fits on the MR2 and adds a litte more omph. But that didn't last long as I now have a 3SGTE in there from the 2nd gen MR2 Turbo.
