I bought the rustiest Chevy K5 Blazer ever. possible restoration?

This thing came up for sale localy and i couldent resist buying it.
I would love to save it but is it worth it?
it’s a 1972 Chevrolet K5 Blazer. last year of the first generation Blazer.
Feel free to comment any ideas and suggestions for this thing. save it? sell it? full resto? cobble it together just to make it run and drive?

You should keep it for a future project. It would be a good one to restore

That´s probobly what´s going to happen, push it aside and start looking for parts and do some other projects in the meantime.

Greetings from Minnesota! I am so glad I found your channel, loved the video! Its going to be fun to watch the progress you make on the Blazer. I have a 1971 K5 Blazer that's rusty rusty as well so I feel your pain. Also the forest you live in looks very much like the woods here in Northern Minnesota, especially Beltrami Island State forest.

Love what you are doing. I collect 68-72 C-10s and have a couple Blazer projects - so I have accumulated a lot of extra parts. Would love to figure out a way to get some parts to you economically, if there is a way to do that.

Thanks, i will keep that in mind there are several ways to ship stuff but the cheapest is if you know someone who is about to send a container full och stuff and you can fit it there.

misstänkte det men tänkte det borde bli konstigt när ventilen hamnar på andra sidan packningen och inte på samma sidan som bromsvätskan

Definitely worth saving. Pretty much all steel body panels are available. Look up "Motor City K-5", shipping over there will be expensive though. I have 4 of them, plus several pickups. Lots of fun to play with. The tire valve in the master cylinder cap was probably for pressure bleeding the brakes. CHEERS!!

Man shipping stuff just next door to Canada is stupid expensive from the USA. Small things aren't bad but any body panels are killer. Over $100 to ship a rocker panel for my truck!!
