I still don’t trust the odds. I don’t believe he’s made 36000 packs in the slightest for there to be 1:1000 for base set. How can you trust the people packing haven’t taken the packs too. I feel like it’s the creators responsibility to make the packs themselves to ensure odds like Vault and others do.

At the end of the day, he's buying a product and repackaging it to make money. It's morally dubious and it's 100% for profit.

Yeah, the fact he was nervous when he thought he might be stuck with around $540, but his own packs have like a 4/5 odd's to not even get 50% value is ridiculous. If you hit green tier and don't hit evolving skies, it's like impossible to get 50% value from his packs, even then you can't even come close to break even.

His mystery packs have a 63% chance to literally get scarlet and violet era packs, for 70$ USD. Even if those packs were all 151 (which has a 0.00005% chance) it wouldn’t be worth it by far.

With your value's $850 on a $1k box is not bad at all - the $150 disparity can be seen as a 'shoppers fee' or something - Depends on how long it would have taken you yourself to put the box together and how much you value that time - So it kind of breaks even - I mean, lets be realistic, unless its a collector looking for a quick sale rarely will a non chase mystery box ever put you over value.

I think that $150 disparity is meant to be a possible recoup from the packs (whatever the disparity is for that matter) He could've grabbed a god pack, could've gotten an SAR. The name of the game is chance, honestly the 1k price while giving a fair bit of odds with all that 151...not bad imo. will I pay for a mystery box no, will I scam myself out of $120-$200 just to end up with $20 in pulls from sealed booster boxes...yes

@@kryn1030 wrong. You still have to pay about 12% or so for anything you sell. Sold something on ebay for 500 a month or so ago and only got about 400. Because ebay had to get a share of the profit. You don't have to pay to list things anymore, but they still get a certain amount of percentage from the total price.

I love(d) his channel, I've been away for like 9 months due to childbirth and baby, had no money to spend on Pokémon so didn't watch videos either. I'm starting again now and this is one of the first videos I've watched. It annoyed me how he handled the 151 packs. I mean, if there was a Charizard in there, might even get scratched and not get a 10 anymore due to this. He also opens like a machine and as if he is rushing because he needs to go somewhere.
