They do make TV tuners for Android devices. I bought a Mygiga USB-C ATSC TV tuner that can output @ 1080p and I get 30 + channels using the included tiny rabbit ears. If I hook it up to a multi directional portable antenna in my window I can get 50+ channels. I got this tuner from Amazon back in 2021 for 25 USD that actually works on my Fire Max 11. In fact used it during Hurricane Milton when I lost electricity for 6 hrs (I live on the east coast of FL). It works great and looks great largely due to my tablets display.

I like it. I can see how that would be handy backpacking. I camp alot, I got a small 24in Roku TV a few yrs ago & run it with my Hotspot & works good in my tent with rabbit ears. But I'm kinda liking the smaller size, cause he'll, most of the time I just watch download stuff on my phone. Another thing I like about it, is looks like front facing speakers. Great review.

Having a tv like this is great for emergencies. When the power goes out. My power was out for 4 days, and I was able to watch tv and stay informed on what was going on. For the first couple of hours of our power outage we lost power and cell phone service. So other than the car radio we had no idea what was going on. Cell phones were back on in about 2 hours, but we still had 4 days without power.

How did you power the TV? The Battery pack will Last 4 hours at best. You were out of Power for 4 days.

Get a power inverter for your car and you can run your car charging your device or solar panels would work as well but then money for batteries and everything else¡ $$$

This is a TN panel if you tilt it the Colors are then wrong and the Contrast is also not granulate from withe over grey to black. At IPS panels you can change the viewing angle and this not happened so extreme. For this price it is not worth. Thumbs up No.85!

Did you turn antenna power on testing small antenna? Also thought about getting those usb antenna made for phone and tablet. Uses app to get channels

With the small antenna. There was a marginal increase. If I can remember. But without the power on I was able to get a surprising amount of channels when I put it on my car rooof. And drove up a hill near where our local broadcast towers are. Showing it was a site that had the best elevation in my area. Better than my tower at my house. (20 Meters higher)

Hi Robbie 👋 At the End you said you bought it just for the News.... I think you would be much better off with a Portal Solar Radio and a Power bank with a Good Solar Panel. When you are off grid living / camping 📻 radios are much Better they consume a lot less Power. I will not buy no name brands like the TV in this Video. There are a huge selection of similar TVs for sale on Amazon, eBay, and other places. So people interested in this sort of Product have a lot of different choices.

to be silly.. did you try to connect this to autoscan from a feed from your lnb thats powered on 97w or any other satellite. does the antenna port have any dc power as some sometimes have 5v on them for a mast head uhf preamp.

Says 1080p multiple times on the Amazon page, but the resolution is only 1024 x 600 which isn't even HD. So not so good if you want to use is for a computer. Screen is TFT.

Too bad it doesnt have a manual channel scan, so you can enter the RF channel and then aim your antenna until it picks up a signal... Alas.

Well it seems Amazon has a newer but almost same model. Has a metal kick stand. I got the ware house 2nd chance deal but uhhh yea menu button volume up and down and channel up and down on side of unit aren’t making contact with the board. Bummer reached out to seller through amazon even though amazon says I need to contact them. Will see how this goes but it’s nice for a 12v dc option. ***update*** “replacement unit sent by the seller arrived today ok shipping speed from “yawen” but guess what same issue on buttons volume up, down, menu, channel up, down on tv it self feels like no board behind no click no function.
