This is just so much better than "hey look at this brand new set" So exiting to see what random stuff is just floating around out there. And gives hope to those who just want to collect some older stuff without the desire for grading and perfection. Sure a little risky but hey if you were someone who just wanted some old stuff, you've proven it's out there. So thanks for another great video!

Yup, I totally agree with you! I've started collecting Pokemon cards again solely out of nostalgia and of regrets of donating my whole childhood cards collection.. what was probably all in played condition, maybe even worst. But still, I just liked the artworks and the memory they brought to me. :') Since I got in touch with the Pokemon collector world, it's been a lot to catch on about and I'm really trying hard to stick with my first goal and not get hyper tempted to find extra rares from newer eras and such. Buying binders like the last one would clearly make me happy. And gosh!! I'd buy this Lugia binder alone, even without its content. (Ok maybe not for 200$ though.) It's indeed great to see videos about this topic! I somehow never thought about adding "childhood" in my search key words. ^^

I bought and pulled the whole base set in 8th grade with all my dishwashing money and blueberry raking money. I never played with any of them. Just put them right in a binder. When we moved the next year, my crazy stepmom who's long gone, decided she wanted to give a bunch of my stuff to her nephew. Including my whole binder of pokemon cards!!! My ps1 and games! My Habitat skateboard. It was the worst feeling ever when i found out. Still hurts. Now i been on dialysis for 15 years and can't afford crap. Really discouraging. I atleast love watching others open them! Thanks Pokerev.

If there's one thing I learned from Ebay over the years, not only being a former reputable seller but a buyer as well its a majority of the time if you buy from a seller that specializes in cards and its a blind sell he/she probably already picked out the valuable cards. BUT that's not always the case. For example, i sold a gem mint 1st edition TY-17 for $150 and many other card collections and always wanted my customers to be very happy. BUT if you want gems, it normally comes from sellers who don't even look up value they just throw a fair price on items, and those are normally how people find grails at low prices. I'm not saying all reputable sellers scam people, but sadly, many people will just make an appealing listing to get you to buy.
