Those origami measuring spoons needed a better test. I would have liked to see them used with basic baking goods. I rarely need measuring spoons for peanut butter in recipes (if I'm making something with peanut butter it's getting like 1/2 a cup and I'm likely using a metal spoon or rubber spatula to get it out.) I would have liked to see if it did hold liquid like water and if the amount you measured in it was actually accurate compared to a normal set of measuring spoons.

One other criticism I also have with the hug sleep pod is having to go to the bathroom in the middle of the night especially when you are trying to not wake yourself too much. If you are a pillow between the legs person, like me, then it makes this even harder. Plus tying to get a pillow inside and in position to start with takes too much time and effort when you are trying to relax and go to sleep. If you are a bigger person it makes this even more difficult. So if you don't sleep with a knee pillow or get up at night often then it may be ok for you.

That's the thing - it's made for wet and dry. If it's meant to replace actual tsp and tbsp then I want it to perform. Even spreading was less easy than a knife. We use the “Wad-free” device for our California King fitted sheet and duvet cover, and have been using it for over a year now. I will say that it usually keeps them from becoming a clump in the washer, but they still find a way in the dryer. It is usually not as tightly wound up as they would have been without it, but they are still twisted. We have the “Purple” fitted sheet, so it is stretchy, which may be a contributing factor, but I thought it was worth a try, and it has at least helped somewhat. 😁👍🏻

Yea the scooper things (can’t remember what they were called) are a pretty genius concept, I was actually surprised at how clever it was to come up with at all. If it worked well it would be a great utensil to have: cleans easily, incredibly easy to store since it won’t take up basically any room. Not sure if maybe having stronger magnets would help the stability, but I hope that he figured out a solution cause that would be really handy to have.

I absolutely love the wad free things. We use it for our duvet cover. I helps it dry WAY faster. Because it’s 100% cotton it can’t be used in the dryer with heat. Before wad free it would take around 3 hours on air only. with wad free it dries in 1hr 30 mins. Even faster if I put it on a clothing line for a little bit. (I don’t completely clothing line dry it because I can’t stand the way it feels after. I have sensory issues.

It looked like the scoops are probably for softer 'wet' foods or mostly dry foods. Those spreads looked pretty thick and if it's only secured by a magnet I can see why it would come apart in anything dense. If it had a clip or snap it would probably work better

@nicolelavigne17002 жыл бұрын
I got to be honest, the origami spoons don't excite or appeal to me at all. Maybe more if you were camping? But how often do you need measuring spoons for camping? I foresee ingredients like sugar or flour potentially getting wedged up where the magnets snap together. It looks like you can't just shake it to even out the ingredient because it gets too shallow. It probably would struggle with brown sugar as well as thick spreads like peanut butter.

I know you were joking about wanting a sleep tent, but they do make them for adults. Not sure if it’s the same brand, but there are popular ones that sell on Amazon. We got one for all of the people in my household. I’ve got girls that share a bedroom, that are about 8 years apart (12/20). We’ve attached one to each of their beds and it’s been great. My eldest goes to bed later than my youngest does, but my you test can fall asleep easily because it blocks out all the light. When my you test gets up for school, she can turn the light on and my eldest is shielded from the light in the morning. I highly recommend them for everyone. Yes they are a bit pricy, especially if you buy one for everyone in a large family; but to us it’s worth it.
