I was demonstrating core/pap dynamics once with a fellow bowler and had to do the 3 hole approach to show the differences. I found the best way was to drill all 3 neutral, then cheat the feel with the inserts. Worked pretty well, and it was a cheap pyramid ball that I later plugged and donated to a youth bowler.

Yup, the wrong way is the right way so it seems LOL. Got an idea and challenge for you after watching Forest throw your tape ball. Take whatever ball you'd like throw it down a fresh house shot, when the ball comes back put tape around the ball only on the oil pattern that's on the ball including the flair. Take note don't fill it in solid put tape only on the lines on the ball, then bowl a game with it that way. An even better challenge would have you and Forest do the same with whatever balls y'all decide to use and then bowl a 3-game series against each other and see who wins. Should make for a fun challenge. You have just 30 seconds after reading this challenge and accepting it before you, your kitty cat and your home are blown up along with this message Mr. 220 Bowler........................GET IT LOL. The gas joke was funny. And he tire jokes as well. I have a 3 ball bag and I have a green pin purple pearl hammer urethane, the blue tank and the tank rampage urethane. So 2 of 3 balls are tank balls so I have 3/4 of a tank (lol) and if I had a 3rd fank i will have a full tank .
