i love listening to worship, ive been going to church for 6 months, ive had so many people put in my path, the volume is well an truly been turned up POWERFUL, I use to want to attain highs through drugs an drink, 3 years sober and gods pulling me closer to the church, I dont want to be whiter than white, im glad jesus had a bit of bite about him and he wanted to help the sinners. Yes! God doesn't call the qualified, He qualifies the called! Just keep going and don't give up, God will be your strength and sing/play through you. He called me as well when I didn't think I was talented enough, but He has proven Himself SO faithful...He put me in the exact place I'm supposed to be, supernaturally increased my natural talent, and orchestrated every detail. The basic meaning of the Bible word "anoint" is "to pour on, smear all over or rub into." In the Old Testament, someone who was anointed by God for special service to God had oil poured or smeared on him. For Jesus said you will know mine by the love that is in their hearts. I have read nothing from you that shows this love. You seem to have trouble understanding the word, for it would be that you try and understand it with the carnal mind, instead of the spiritual heart. Was Christ the anointed? memama2, you have a lot of issues that you need to get straightened out in your biblical understanding, and feel you are speaking words that are not even common among the apostles of Jesus in the word. We, the believers, are mentioned many times in the new as the anointed of God, those that have never experienced this anointing, seem to be the one that argue against so much. But I will say no more, for God forbids us to throw our pearls before swine.
