I broke Deadlock with my One Button Bebop Build!

I managed to make a one button multibind using the console to bind together phantom strike, bomb echo shard bomb as well as silencing glyph! Try it for yourself! here's the keybind! The game is in early development so its fun to test out the possibilities in the game engine. This is essentially the same way people used to bind jump throws in counter strike!

You have to manually add an attack sequence in your keybind! First unbind ur item keys in game, then manually bind each key in console!

It was allowed in CS for about 20 years before they banned it, I assume they’ll eventually get around to do it in Deadlock too but its probably not a priority in a early dev build! Stuff like this is exactly why we r playtesting the game, we should all try finding gimmicky shit and then devs will decide if it shud be kept

@@DorneysHouseofGames You used to be use multiple moving console command at the same time ( like go backward and turn right). When using the correct combo, you become 100% accurate instantly when removing your button. In CS, to be accurate you have to stop completely by counter strafing. For example if you are holding A then to stop you have to remove A then tap D, which makes it a lot harder to just peek out.

This reminds me of a couple of years ago in dota, players would use the console to bind a button to quickly armlet-toggle. Using console binds is pretty common in source games, but it probably shouldnt be a feature in the game. Players having a cfg file for each character to do really weird technical stuff, or even just execute your entire combo in a frame, sounds goofy

@@MediumMikael you dont even need to copy-paste stuff, you can just write whatever you want in a cfg file, name it anything, write "exec [name]" into the console and that cfg file will be written into the game. then when you want to switch to another cfg file you just write into the console to execute another file.

Love the crafting, but this stuff should not be allowed to exist. Allowing bindings like these isn't good for the game. This isn't a shot at Jonas, he does what he's there for as a creator. This will not be fun to play against at all, they absolutely have to take away the console from people and if they do bindings like these in Logitech Software etc. it would be worth ban from the game. This can not be the way we all play the game. This might be fun for the Bebop, but absolutely shit and very unfun to play against. This is like the Doomfist bullshit from OW, they have to understand this takes skill out of the game and serves to frustrate players out of their minds. Please tell me the dev has enough brain cells to understand how bad this is...

After the recent nerfs to echo shard (0.3 sec delay) this build is no longer possible, or at least much harder to pull off! Was fun while it lasted but multi keybinds were too strong :)

Most comp games consider this kind of stuff scripting/cheating from my experience and definitely by me. While achieving different things CS2 just banned Snap-Tap (null-bind) setups and this was able to be achieved via console, AHK scripts, as well as Wooting/Razer keyboards and you can do the same things for this bebop combo with all the above. If valve allows this garbage in the long run I will be upset. I bought debuff remover against a double bomb bebop and shit on him all game so it can still be countered even if it is cheating.
