@@weightedundermountainofbook Not really, you just need to be in higher trophy leagues and war a lot and you'll be fine. I maxed almost all equipment sets for my heroes at TH 13, including frozen arrow at level 18. The downside is you upgrade just one set at a time and the other equipment would still be low level. That's really the only difference between f2p and p2w imo.

Idea: Wouldn't you be able to donate an additional 2.5k troops if all clan mates also requested 50 barbs each. If you then donate them while you are inside the war map, the troops should still first move once you left the war map. So you would see a total of 5k barbs.

I don't know If it's still working but If you moove the barrack the troops donated will get back in the barrack instead of leaving the camp so you can technically keep them as long as you moove the barrack

There's one other anomaly you can view with troop donations. Donate some troops, then while they are marching toward the path move the barracks or dark barracks on your map and watch them march back inside the barracks and never leave the base via the path. Your intended clanmate still receives the troops, but it looks like they never left your base. It's only a visual glitch for the donator of the troops to experience, but it is funny to watch. You don't have to move the barracks to a new location on your town, simply grabbing and moving it to an invalid location then releasing it and it will snap back to when it was and the troops will appear to turn around and go back inside it. I'm doing this on an android device...I don't know if it will appear the same on an iOS device.
