I might be wrong but this is my logic? If the lsd makes both rear wheels to spin at the same time then that's your problem. When turning, one of the wheel rotates more than the other one. Let's say your doing a left u turn. The driver rear wheel probably rotates 2 times fully. While the passenger wheel needs to rotate 6 times to cover the extra ground. I think the sound is one of your wheel either trying to rotate more while it can't, or the same wheel is locking since the inner wheel isn't rotating. Hope I made sense.
