I've shown my wife (who's from Mexico) the other two songs Floor performed on Beste Zangers, and I just queued this one up and told her to listen. Right before she watched it she says "I wish she could do one in Spanish". Well, wish granted, she couldn't believe it! Floor really is amazing and so talented. Her pronunciation is just about flawless! Apparently she insisted on singing in Spanish, not only for the other singer, but for her Latin American fans. 💜🤘 Edit: OK, OK. I suppose "flawless" was the wrong term to use, but it seemed exceptionally well done to me. I'm not a native Spanish speaker, but I do speak some Spanish. So, since I could understand her quite well, I thought that she must sound amazing to native speakers. Apparently not. Luckily, we are all fans here who love her abilities and appreciate her efforts in showing love to an entire segment of her fanbase; therefore, this is simply a non-issue. 🤘💜

I love her, I've been a fan of hers way before she was in Nightwish and she did an awesome job learning in a short time a song in a language she doesn't know (probably better than if I tried singing in Dutch), but no. Let's be honest. Her pronunciation is not flawless.

What's better, to be good to very good at many styles, languages and variations and bring them all with passion and power, or to master one thing and one thing only and do nothing but that, like so many singers? If "her pronunciation is not flawless' is the worst thing you can say about someone singing in a language they don't speak, they're doing well I think.

I loved it! Me, a Spanish speaking fan, did not care at all that her pronunciation was “not flawless”. Mostly because Spanish is difficult, and she did it anyways. You'll laugh. Her voice will be transmitted from Mars. No shit. At the very start of her career, in 1998 I believe, she sang in an Ayreon song called "My House on Mars". This is one of ten songs that will be transmitted from Mars, through space, back to Earth, by a European Mars probe due to start, I believe, this year. In the first episode, one of the singers did a James Brown song to sing for opera singer Henk Poort, because Henk grew up with James Brown. Anything goes.

she is singing the song from rolf sanchez the one with the black and white shirt on the sofa with a floor sound , he is a dutch singer whit roots in the dominican republic and he is very famous in latin Amerika he lives half the time of the year in Amerika and the other half of the year in the nederlands but he Always sings in spanisch ( regaeton and slasa that sort of music )

If by some chance i would sit there.. I would just be in awe. and feel blessed to hear this.. And then I will stop making music.. how can one make music knowing she is there.. how can you think what you do deserve to stand beside her. As NW.. she is just something else.. something more.. We will never see anything like this again. and its the same with Tuomas, the best composer of our time.. and to have them make music togehter. That is one of the only things to be happy about when living in this day and age. to be allowed to hear those things.
