8:34 you can also look at the tower itself, the shield of the tower crumbles in 5 segments like the plates do so if ur unsure you can always just look at the tower's shield model. Also just started playing xerath because of ur vids and now I got mastery 10, The magus ascendant is fs my favorite title so thanks a lot for the tips and videos as they have helped me out a lot at improving in league :)

I play league maybe once or twice a year. And lock the screen because I do not get the screen moving part very well. And generally do not invest enough time to get good. But watching Zwag is fun.

One thing I notice you do in a lot of your games is miss local gold on towers, because you treat them like plates. Its definitely dumb design, but you can't just auto attack a tower even with grubs and then walk away and when it dies get the local gold. You actually have to stay near the tower when it dies. Even though if you do that with a plate you get the full plate gold if the minion gets it after u auto'd it and walked away.

That's not the problem. He does that because in most of those scenarios, staying too long near the tower means he gets collapsed on and killed. Staying for tower plates isn't worth throwing shutdown gold and messing up his KDA.

8:15 the red shield on a tower ingame model is an indicator itself. You can tell whether the first (or any other - from corners to center) plating fell or not by simply looking at it. Cant tell the same about playing on red side, but rito at least tried to make it visually distinctive 😢

@zwag I'm sure you just didn't think about it, but the plating count is visually shown on the turret as a shield in the graphics. If you want to know if the plating is still alive, count the bars, then count the shield parts, and you'll know right away if they don't match.

Zwag, you can tell the plating number by the size of the shield on the tower. There's 5 sections that break off as you hit the dmg thresholds.
