Yo Reto, dev here, thanks for playing!! LOL, I may have /slightly/ underestimated the potential of the compounding 10% interest when the board is exploding with waterballs every turn :) Fun play through, glad you enjoyed! Obviously will be fixing some of this excessively broken stuff for the full game :)
@Chris3s2 ай бұрын
looks like a fun idea, the fun is missing a bit though especially at the start as the balls go in random directions and don't trigger anything. Maybe you can improve that? More starting triggers (possibly neutral ones that can be replaced), more balls per round, etc? good luck
@KistaroWindrider2 ай бұрын
please "fix" it only by doing math in int64 or maybe int256 or just straight up bignum rather than by trying to make any of the numbers reasonable :D

One suggestion for the dev: the music is a bit much after awhile. The song really stands out, which is good for a menu where you're only there for a short time, but becomes grating when played on loop. Most music loops are fairly understated to avoid that kind of fatigue.

I'm pretty sure the trash can did not only reach 2 billion only. It probably cycling like the total value at the top since I saw it went to negative as well
@supC_Ай бұрын
Since 2,147,483,647 is the 32-bit integer limit, increasing a number in the 2 billion range by 10% would indeed likely cause a sign flip. And -2 billion * 110% (which is how I assume it’s coded) flips it back, so it would make sense to get a constant switching behavior

The comment regarding the Winner's Cup vs Extra dice is "worse" doesn't sit right, since more over the course of the run because you'd gain additional dice each stage, based on stage performance you'd get 3-4 extra re rolls a stage. By all counts its inherently better then just taking 5 re rolls if taken early enough in the run.

These kinds of snowballing games should just use bigint by default. 9 quintillions are a bit harder to reach than 2 billion. If the whole goal of the game is "big number go bigger", let them go BIG.

I got distracted in the middle and couldn't keep up with all the interactions. Why were there so many water balls spawning at the end?
@reverse_engineered2 ай бұрын
Each waterfall spawned a ball for every reroll he had and had at least 37 at one point. I think another relic or trigger made it so that every time you spawn a ball, you spawn another. He also had several triggers, such as lake, that would absorb the ball and then spawn a water ball. So he basically had an infinite - things that take a ball and give back two. If I was reading the counter in the top-right correctly, he was spawning over 700 balls per turn!
