To do the assist attack you need to control right click on the unit itself. The little name tag thing with the number! (I just recently figured it out myself) it doesn't work if you click the tile without hitting the unit

I think the main reason he's unable to hide the bottom focuses like he did the top might be a restriction with how Hoi4 lets you hide focuses. Hoi4 might only allow you to hide focuses ONCE rather than as many times as you want. I don't think I've ever seen a mod hide focuses twice, so it might just not be possible outright. Not an issue with the mod, might just be an issue with Hoi4.
