Keep in mind, it is mentioned in the books I think that the Orcs hated sauron almost as much as the other peoples of middle earth did, it was just that ruling with a generous ammount of fear backed up by a sorcerous iron fist was one hell of a thing to say no to.

Oh definitely. I did a game like that once (not recorded of course) where I played a Nurniag and my entire goal was to make my bloodline Numenorean. Ended up overthrowing Sauron after he defeated Aragorn, married Aragorn's descendants and found Meneltarma and got to see a vision of Valinor. I'd love to do it again
