I actually sorta did get fluent in the wrong language (though I realized it was "wrong" way before I was fluent). I wanted to learn German so I could speak it with my grandfather. I began taking German classes at my university and found out after two semesters that I was learning High German and he only knows Low German (technically the same language, though different enough to get confused). Ended up not really mattering since he died soon after. Figured I'd keep the legacy alive and see it through to the end. It's several years later now and I'm planning on moving to Dresden within the next couple years. I wonder what would've happened if I only knew Low German by now

I'm so grateful for my fix arriving early today. these videos have taken up a considerable part of my mental bandwidth and I found myself checking back several times a day to see if the new one had dropped. I think the game is very complimentary to NLs style of content and it's a very serious +2 every time. thank you for putting in the back-breaking work to provide for us, editors and NL. NL vids are comparable to insulin but for mental and emotional diabetics who struggle to process the mental and emotional strains of day to day existence. Just a little Pog to keep us up and running.

I think his reliance on the teleporter is what held him back in this run. Yes the lift is ass in comparison, but if you have no way of trickling resources up then after a certain depth your econ falls off. Not an instant hit, but a good longevity pick.

The issue for me is, yeah, the lift is decent and helps you get over not having tele, but tele is god tier for prestige mode, without it you're very unlikely to get a highscore and for me (and Egg according to himself), it isn't about just getting a decent score but getting a huge/massive score so in our minds we're going to get tele... eventually or the run was meaningless from the start. (this is the flaw with the game imo, tele is just too important and almost nothing else matters for end game big scores)
