I've been playing for over 30 years, ever since I was a young teenager, and this is honestly one of the most remarkable guitars I've ever seen. The many skills and attention to detail displayed here are impressive in themselves. What's really astonishing to me, though, are the design sensibility needed to conceive of this in the first place and the patience and dedication needed to see it through to completion. Amazing work!

What excellent work, in 1966 I was in 9th grade in Brownwood Texas. My wood shop teacher had an electric guitar as a project, so I signed up for it. It not only taught me how to make my own pickups and the body, neck and fretboard. I watched your video from start to finish and it reminded me of those days. Thanks for letting me relive my past. I traded that guitar for 1/2 interest in my brother and i’s 1957 Chevy. I wish I had it back, the guitar that is. You do beautiful work…

Oi. Simplesmente, fenomenal. Mais uma vez, parabéns.

I have to say this is the First video of yours I've watched and I almost skipped it because of the Length. But, I have to say I'm Truly glad I didn't Pass it up. I have been woodworking for over 40 years and have built just about every thing you can Imagine except an Instrument. I Have to Compliment You Sir on the Absolutely Beautiful work that I have just seen, Your Craftsmanship and Attention to Detail in your work is Simply Amazing and second to None. I'm 63 and have always Loved Music and have been playing the Drums since I was 13. I'm Proud to say that I turned my Oldest Son on to Music at an early age and got him His First Guitar when He was 12, He's Now 40 and has Played Guitar his entire Life. He Absolutely Loves it and is a very Accomplished Guitarist Now. I've always Loved watching and listening to Him and others Play but never really gave much thought about how much work went into the Guitar He or anyone was Playing. I can tell you after watching your video I really have a New Appreciation for the Luthiers out there (Especially you) and the Hard work, Dedication and Skill it takes to Craft a Instrument. All I can say is your Work Truly shows not only your Skill but how much you Love what your doing. PS: If I were a younger Man I would Consider Asking you for an Apprenticeship just so I could Learn your Amazing Vocation. God Bless and keep up the amazing work.

I watched this guitar being beautifully created from the beginning to the end. As a keyboard player of many years, I would not dream of entering this competition, simply because although I can play half a dozen chords on a guitar, this masterpiece of design, construction and art needs a player who will respect what has gone into its creation. I can only think of my hero John McLaughlin who would be such a person. Good luck to the winner.
@Colhogan062 жыл бұрын
What can I say that hasn't already been said. You definitely have extraordinary patience. The little things people don't immediately see, definitely make this a special instrument of beauty. The brass nut, the silver set stone behind the tailpiece, not to mention the beautiful tuning machines that match all of the other gold/brass hardware. Most importantly, knowing when to use wood to ensure the eyes do not get overwhelmed is excellent. The truss rod cover, the knobs. Just perfect!
