The positive with the dispensers is that if you power the same dispensers twice, it’ll only flip once, but with the copper bulb, it’ll toggle twice. So it makes it much more controllable.

You can easily use the creaking. You simply have to create a single spawn location and ensure that everywhere else is spawn proofed. You also add a daylight sensor so the door remains closed during the day when the creaking aren't spawned in.

I love the idea of using creakings as eye detection for redstone. It should be that during the day their eyes are replaced by the pale wood texture and they become immovable, but there should be a way to make them stay active during the day and never despawn, and a way for them to detect you looking at them through solid blocks

@@sdrjourney I am still on 1.7.10 for years since its the last GOOD version to use mods on (bite me). I am running Twilight Forest if you mean that and Ars Magicka which has its own de-crafter. Also using RecycleItems+, Improving Minecraft and Actually Additions along with No More Recipe Conflict. The ONLY thing I am missing is sadly something I saw as a 1.20 mod: A simple button to switch *_furnace outputs_* I already have that for crafting. Its sad that the seed when I create a world determines if I only get harvestcrafts sunny side eggs or Lots o' Foods hard boiled eggs when I put in eggs into a furnace...
