I built a 1JZ replica of my own Spirit REI PS13 for drifting!

On this episode, we put together our new Spirit Rei S13 with a 1JZ to get ready for our Drift Games Invitational event. Will the world's rarest S13 bodykit survive 2 days of drifting with 100 drivers in Mondello Park? We still have a lot of work to do, but we should be ready to find out...

3D scan that kit so you can reproduce it later Dave. That Golf at SEMA had a complete 3D printed bodykit that he designed in CAD. Would absolutely be worth doing even if you do nothing with the scans seeing as Spirit Rei wont be making them again.

I love this build style! Such big transformations on one video is great to have when most projects are much bigger and longer term on the background. Would be cool if you put Craig to work on a drift car for like 3-4 days then you bring it back from paint and it’s teal and you chick him the keys and bring him along

Maaan that kit on a drift car is gonna be real painful first time it gets a whack.. If it were feasible, the spirit ray kit for the road, quick release for something paint-matched and similar look for the skids.. at least when it gets risky and your pushing your luck like we all tend to do. Car looks class.

The 180sx was called an S13 in for a long time around here, so the Irish got in the habit of saying PS13 to avoid it being confusing

If I was you I would get some molds made for it so if / when it takes a knock you got all the spares to replace them as and when you need them as I feel sourcing another would be very expensive and time consuming
