To get more time - Don't gather the drones at same location they build sporecrawlers. Gather them a few screens away. The walking time would give you a lot of extra time to build way more before any of them finish.

I think the optimal way would be to gather them all together a bit away and start placing the spores in lines but going towards the drone station. You use the walking distance to offset the busy work. Ideally all the spores start at the same time 👌🏼

Idea: create a entrenches with spores and spines while still having army. No savings, no bank. All into drones and spine/spore after maxing out. And move it forward with the creep spread, slowly crawling forward.

dude that was so so cool uthermal you know for rapid firing any button you can just hold your rapid fire key and shift and the spore button then you can get up to like 300 supply

Some ppl dont feel comfy holding that extra key, so they bind directly all the keys they want on rapid fire

Well and you also rapid fire the specific key when you don't want to need shift. For example, shift doesn't work for ravager biles since they will finish their movement before using q which is not very useful.

Both your comment and watching this video makes me wonder if that is the way this game was meant to be played with zerg. Zerg is the swarm and this drone trick has been this way for years and never patched. Maybe it isn't an exploit at all. Just a hidden bonus no other race gets but zerg for mining so much. I would love to see a video of this being used as soon as possible and as often as possible. Trying to keep your supply as far above your threshold and building overlords only when you need them

i noticed u make units and land ur planetary at 3 minutes, but a planetary only takes like 650 minerals and 150 gas. You could literally have it landed by 1:30 before they have hardly any units. The problem is that, they could scout it and destroy it in the 26 seconds it takes for it to upgrade. So try to land it outside of their vision right outside of their natural. Then you could start making factories behind it and have your opponent contained at 2 minutes into the game.

uThermy, did you know you can have all the keys set up as rapid fire? I use grid hotkeys, and every building or unit, I can make with rapid fire. :) You need to add them in the .txt file of your hotkey set up.

Surely if you do the extractor trick to go below 200, then cancel the extractors, you don't have a 250 supply army because it has at least 50 drones in it In fact pretty sure using that it's impossible to go above 200 supply with army because of this .. Yeah, 170 army 80 drones

Yes, building a spine crawler takes 15 more seconds than a spore, so could maybe get 280 supply with that (but 100 minerals vs only 75). Also, playing on a more spacious map with more area to build the spine forest could help maybe

zerg still op. even with the worst units combo, even fight(an over sized army surround witch never happens and end up with nearly even units fight), toss with best anti-combo units, and toss doing very good army control, toss has no chance to win a battle.

The one being tricked here is you/me - it's not a 250 supply Zerg army, but a 200 supply Zerg. Period. When I saw the title, I was like "how could you even..." - so I was tricked :).

You should build your higher tech units first in the main 200 supply and then build all the bantha fodder units with the "extra" supplly this will help keep the cost down.... so something like 100 supply of infestors 100 supply of roach hydra and then all the extra supply you can by by starting your drones further screens apart of lings to turn them into banes kinda shit. Then bane bust through the defense neurol the tech and walk through him with roach hydra 😂😂
