What 4 mallet grip are you using?

Musser/Stevens grip, except I like to choke a little further in on the outer mallets - I find that this gives me better control on the outer mallets.

MonkMan studios has probably the cheapest marimbas on the market. A 5 octave is cheaper than most 4.3 marimbas.

My Mtech 5.0 is $146/mo, no interest. That’s less than my cellphone bill. I wish there were reasonably priced marimbas when I was in college. Practicing on a silent pad wouldn’t have helped me too much. Good job tho. Maybe it could be MIDIfied.
