I get a lot of new contacts. So, here's what I really need: GPS coordinates for when I got a new contacts. Yes, for the phone. With suggestions for which venue I met them in. I absolutely need to store the date for when I got a new contact. It would be nice to have a descriptor too, like ability to QUICKLY add hair colour, eye colour, rough height. And a note, like: "Chewinggum."

unfortunately no, I don’t have access to the data so the whole analytics idea doesn’t seem doable … but it was a fun concept build! Also, I’m uploading a similar style video next week & that app WILL be on the app store 😁

@@logankoshenka without doubt - APPLE is missing a trick in its contacts app, also linking recent emails, text messages, reminders. What you have built looks amazing.
@logankoshenka2 жыл бұрын
thank you! It’s something Apple would most likely have to do, as it’d be hard for a 3rd party to get this kind of access … but yeah it’s exciting to think about the opportunity they have with the analytics aspect, especially with the siri suggestions stuff you see today

Hi Logan - Great tutorials, thanks for sharing them and helping me get started! I really like the organic wave design you created around 2:56 mark in this video. Do you have a tutorial for what goes inside the Wave views and how you bend them?
@logankoshenka2 жыл бұрын
thanks so much! and no I don’t have a tutorial for it, the waves were a code sample from another tutorial I’ve done … but if you google like “swiftui wave shape” there are a lot of resources that come up!

Hi logan the ui is not that bad. About the detail screen. The shapes are a great idea,(i d really like ti see how they were built), some work should be done in order to accomodate the contrast with the text, but i really liked the idea behind. But there s a big no: the additional tap required on contact button to call or message the person. I would build a hstack to display below the contact info such rapid actions: call, send a text message, email. At the moment, the contact UX in original app is really good to me. The charts were a good idea, with additional work this could became an amazing concept. But its good, the basics are there 😃
@logankoshenka3 жыл бұрын
awesome feedback - it’s funny because I actually had an HStack for the contact actions but changed it haha I think the UX in the original app is great as well, this was just a fun concept to build. I appreciate your comment!
