Hi, another build list i have is ~$980. The main components it has the 12600KF ~$160, Arctic Freezer 36 cooler ~$25, ASRock Z690 Extreme motherboard ~$130, DDR4 32GB ram at 3200mhz CL16 ~$55, 1TB Pcie 4.0 nvme ~$60, XFX swft rx 6800 non-xt ~$380, fractal design pop air, ~$80 and a Thermaltake GF1 fully modular 80+ gold psu ~$85. For ~$980, would this be better than your build? I reckon for fortnite, it should be... I know Fortnite is pretty nvidia biased, but the rx 6800 should be faster in most cases for the game as it is around 35%-40% faster than the rtx 4060... So raw performance should in theory make it way better over 4060 in fortnite?

honeslty that combo will be completely fine for 360+ FPS at 1080p or 1440p resolution, the 4070 ti super is a great GPU as well but not necessary for Fortnite, I would not consider the 7900 xt between that or the 4070 ti super. In my opinion if you have more money to spend then sure get the 4070 ti super, but if you're doubting because of pricing, just get the 4070 super :)

Never use the stock cooler that u get with the cpu. CPU is AM5 and the motherboard has an AM5 socket so they work together and motherboard supports DDR5 and the RAM is DDR5. SO yes they all work together.

Use an 4060 ti, its not super super expensive, can run 1080p and 1440p, aswell it can handle all the newest games currently. I have a 4060 ti, its amazing. I can run any game i want, stream and game at the same time and run max graphics in a game in 1080p with good fps. if you do have extra money, i recommend getting the 16gb version. Its fine if you get the 8gb version

I have a 4060 ti and a ryzen 9 7900x but I only get about 90 fps on tarkov, is it a downgrade to go to a ryzen 7 7800x3d, also I’m running the game at 1440p

Get a new gpu, the 4070 super is good for 1440p

I'd upgrade the GPU in your case, going with the RTX 4070 Ti Super would be ideal, or 4070 Super / RX 7900 GRE

u are dropping in low 80 fps on both 1080p and 1440p , it makes stuttering, i do have same on i7 10700k and rx 7800 xt , crap game
