About Instruments of Destruction:
Instruments of Destruction features an advanced physics-based destruction system. You can demolish every structure in the game piece by piece thanks to a fully interactive physics system, and every object in the world interacts with the destruction in some way. It would be slower, but you could make a catapult like design where the cannon ball loads into the plow when its not moving, and then you launch it. That would probably work better.

Don't take offence to this, but you're preaching to the wrong choir brother, Drae doesn't play too many games like that. I could be wrong but I think it's a little too demanding for him to focus on the immense plot and storyline of games like Fallout and Outer Worlds when he's already playing so many different games every day. If you don't have the game and just want to watch someone play it, I'd suggest checking out Alchestbreach, he's an amazing gamer/streamer that plays various heavy story-driven games, and he did a series on O.W. that I really liked. If you have the game, and really enjoy the plot, I'd also suggest giving the song Fine Print a listen, it's made by KZbinr, The Stupendium.

Drae, opening the scoops will create a farther throw, not lessening them. I realize this seems counter intuitive but it's the laws of centrifugal force. It's why the pin on a trebuchet points up instead of hooks.

Drae, one compound word; Lightsaber Using a chainsaw as the blade, connected to a rope/cable/etc... that can be 'wind' back, then using magnets grab onto the chainsaw sword. Hold the Chainsaw sword and swing it with the swivels and such (attached to the magnet on main body side). Then throw it again, after unwinding the rope/cable/etc..., maybe add a spin Main issues would be magnet behaviors and how to do a rope/cable/etc... winding drum. Other than that, I think it's possible. p.s. thankyou for the vids and your fearis wheel mk2 didn't work because the scoops' bottom would block the balls from getting in.

I think if you added boosters on to the spinning wheel. It would be best to turn them on whenever you struck something with the wheel to make it not lose any speed when hitting an object. Oh you also had one of your jets backwards on your spinning wheel lol

4:52 Your thruster powered spinning failed not bcuz of any of the reasons you hypothesized but bcuz you had one thrust faced the wrong way, so three were spinning it in the right way while the fourth was likely causin the wobble by facin the wrong way

Nice video. I enjoyed it. But here 15:48 instead of bending the scoops foreword bend the scoops back. That way it gives the balls a chance to enter the cup instead of being hit by the cup.

The reason your shots were flying up was due to the point at which the projectile was being fed into the wheel. Draw a tangent line from that point to approximate it's trajectory.

By chance, could you try the wheel sideways but w/ the bigger scoop to have a better chance that the ball gets yeeted. It would be at an even level. If not horizontal, try to tilt it slightly?

You should rotate the scoops so that the outer edge is open and they get flung by the back of the scoop and that way they can get launched out
