LOL, not only won a round on A technicality, but kinda did on 3 technicalities at once: 1: The whole minicar broken off from the actual car 2: Said minicar, even lost all wheels, so can you even call it driving at that point, though it does have a thruster so it CAN move indeed 3: The opponent get stuck on the "terrain"

That was hilarious thanks to Kan's great build idea! Another build idea: As there is a way to separate one object from another and remote control it: You could try a build a car that splits off (on a button press) a remote controlled swarm of small vehicles around you driving along.

I have an idea, make it so that if the legs connecting the little car gets destroyed, the little car will float above the stadium so your still in the zone while not being able to be hit

I mean, the problem is, whenever you collide both vehicles take the same amount of damage, so in a competition with 4 players its pretty likely the last 2 vehicles take eachother out. So kAN, if you join the battlebots rounds, add missiles to your car ;) for long range attacks. Or, if power core count is limited, use sensor to detach armor before impact so only the armor piece takes damage.
