im currently binge watching your scum content so some i my tips you may have already figured out 1. ALWAYS have a sewing kit with you boots and gloves wear out fast and damage to cloths/bags are a pain. so having a kit on hand at all times(i carry 2 extras in my vehicle) is a must 2. since its a solo server change gas station fuel and trader money to unlimited. its just a quality of life thing.with the base ,75 elements is the standard before expansions. for a solo game id change it to unlimited and multiple flags so you can build bases in other locations also 3. you can only have 1 garden plot,as a solo you wouldnt need a huge one anyway.holding right click while looking at plants gives detail into 4. cooking gives you the best food but take a lot of time to do, is definantly worth it to cook when doing things around your base 5. cars with no motor can only be fixed at trader, best to just use them for part to fix a different car 6. you only need the car jack to work on the wheels. the rest can be done with part in hand and hold f, if you use a jack and a part if red it is damaged, blue is missing, lights and tires can be destroyed if take to much damage 7. the south part of the map is hot, dress acordingly and obviously the snow areas are cold so dress warm lol, i personally like the B zones best i can think of many more but im sure youll figure most out as you go 8. a personal not on wepons, i prefer a bow and sword(katana,tang doa 2 hits most enimies, metal sword(very easy to craft) 3-4 hits) with handgun as back up. i also carry a SDAS as back up in my car and a sniper just for having fun :P loving the content keep it up

Hi Torak great videos bud!! Keep up the amazing work. Some tips for you, you're living in the warmest place of the map. You need to take you jacket off during the hot part of the day. Also considering finding or buying the lighter bullet proof armor. It weighs less and gives less heat. Carry 2-3 fully loaded mags for your pistol so you can press r to reload and you get a full clip. You can use the toolboxes to repair your armor, helmet, the work bench erc. You can press shift r to check how much bullets are in your gu. When you get a flashlight and battery on your gun you can turn the light on and off with shift E

man i love your videos, been waiting since your last episode of scum. Please do not get bored easily as I will tell you, YOU ARE STILL EXPERIENCING AROUND 10% OF WHAT THE SCUM SHOULD BE. Here are a few tips. SCUM is still buggy at the moment, I'm just waiting for the full release currently. When you go to a locker and after you've picked the lock on it and it still says lock = you gotta reconnect / go back to menu and just log back in. This is a known bug of the game. You can do this with a airdrop missing on the area. SO BASICALLY JUST RECONNECT TO THE GAME and most issues will be fixed. You're misunderstanding the Building extension a little bit. first let's understand the flag. If I remember correctly for a solo player you have a maximum of 100 building elements. When you saw on your flag with 15 elements, that only meant you only put 15 elements in your flag area. The only time you need building extensions is the time you've maxed out your building elements in your flag(meaning you cannot put craft/make anything in your flag area) and bb extensions only add i think 50-100 elements. Garden From what I can remember you can only put 1 farm plot per flag so you gotta build bigger farm plot if you really wanna pursue farming. (in Default settings you gotta take care of them as they grow easily, you gotta water them constantly and you gotta remove the weeds from it from time to time) on the last minutes of the video you are discussing about going for bunker. There are 2 kinds of gated bunkers in the game (active bunkers and abandoned bunkers) ACTIVE BUNKERS = are the bunkers that are guarded by mechs ABANDONED BUNKERS = are the bunkers where dead mechs should be I suggest you first go Active bunkers and experience it first as going to a Abandoned bunker will not be enjoyable if you don't know anything about it. sorry for the longg comment.

Next time when you find 2 of the same weapon you are using, you can use a toolkit to disassemble 1 weapon and then use the parts to repair your main weapon.

Here are some tips for you: 1) You can see how much heat a clothing gives you by hovering over them. Some are just not worth wearing unless you're in snow biome, like socks, underwear etc... 2) If you're not gonna take a lot of hits, then wearing Helmet is not worth it, also Military boots gives a lot of heat too, wear a regular boots that gives less heat, it's not worth the 2 slots. 3) You can wear shorts instead of pants for less heat and I would recommend the regular Ballistic Armor instead of Heavy ones for regular looting runs as it's lighter which doesn't drain as much stamina.

You can use the Drill Presses you find on compounds to craft nails/ammo instead of the Improvised Workbench, they don't break and can be used infinitely.

Great video again!! Such a great series 🎉 Because I missed to comment the last one you will get more than one hint from me today 😅 If you hover the mouse over your clothing you can see a number 0-4, 0 means no heat, 4 means high heat, and all the clothes sum up. You live in the south, it’s a hot area there and you wear way to much stuff, at least take of the jacket and maybe some useless clothes like socks etc.😁 also don’t take a dip in the water, you will be much heavier after your clothes are soaked and therefore you will be slower and have less endurance. You can repair the workbench with a toolbox. For the garden: hold right click (focusmode) and you will see a lot of information about the plants, btw per player only 1 garden is possible, nothing to do with the base elements. No need to cheat! 😄 For the walls: the shown white arrow has to point to the outside, build one wall after the other, so they have no gaps, the blueprint will kinda clip onto the wall you already build Also take at least one more magazine for the gun with you 😄 For the bunkers: there are 2 different kinds, normal ones with mechs walking in the front and abandonned ones with razors inside, I would recommend to try the normal ones first 😁 You can disassemble a gun with a toolbox and use the parts to repair another gun of the same kind. Loving your stuff dude, carry multiple full magazines and tap R for quick reloads. Also with your main weapons, keep a few spares around, you can use a tool box to scrap them for parts and repair your primary

Another Banger.. Binge watching and kinda sad that I am coming towards the last episode. And you can walk in the garden it won't destroy anything. You can use river water not the ocean and you can drink river water if needed. You can craft nails and bolts with scrap metal. Scrap metal u gonna need a lot so fill up a wardrobe when you go to the scrapyard. If you have two of the same guns you can disamble one and use those parts to repair the other one. To cool down you can swim also go into the shade. Lots of things you can change in settings I advice you to look into that and yes you can only place one garden and one we'll.. And up the decay of things and more build elements.. Most server have like 300 or more and repair base elements at your flag.. But for sure lower decay time. Click right mouse button to see info about water and stuff for plants. The higher you engineering skills the less material you need. The flag shows you how much elements you have build. We used to be able to craft remote control for door. About the garden just make one as big as possible. If that happens again with the locks relog.. It's sometimes bugged can happen in drops too!.. 😂 That drop in the house I've never seen before

Go ahead and expand the base. Like you said, its probably more for multiplayer so as youre on a singleplayer game it doesnt make sense to have a limit like that. I also tweaked the gas use settings in my game. Another thing I changed a bit was to change the sun up and sun down timing so I have a 3 to 1 ratio or day to night.

Hey man, loving the series. Some thoughts for you since you're receptive to ideas. Firstly, please, for the love of God, get some extra mags. It'll save you man. Secondly, more of a question, wouldn't a revolver be better than a handgun with a mag? Sure, fewer bullets, but you can reload it on the fly, just pop in a couple of rounds and boom. Again, loving the series, glad you didn't die on those stairs.

You can build 2 wells by moving the flag and then building a new well next to the old one with the flag bounderies being just next to the old well, then destroy the second flag and put it back where you wanted it. boom 2 wells.

Tip: Once you are on the top of that hollow warehouse, after you finish with looting, lure the puppets that are on the ground to drop in the warter by walking over the beams of the roof. Puppets will follow your walking; Best source of food and seeds for you are warehouses on south side of the train depo (the warehouses in line, one after another - every second is with food); Also, you shouldn't miss looting the cardboard boxes - they often contain something very usefull (weapon cleaning kits, yellow screwdrivers...); As an admin on your server, you can set all parameters that seems to bother you, like - fuel usage (you can lower it down), or stamina consumption, skill rate, digestion speed... everything; When crafing item blueprint become red, it means that something obstructing the finishing, as something, some object, is on the path of the bluescript. Find and remove the obstacle and problem solved (last needed item to finish the object you are crafting, can be the reason as well); I would recommend to craft several water collectors. They are easy to craft and you can't have enough water if you are settled that much south on the map; Regarding building - you CAN build staircases. It is section above the walls etc. You were checking that section but not closely enough (second row in that Modular section); Pistol silencers are deteriorating fast, so always keep toolbox with you for repairing; To repair weapon you can use another same weapon+toolbox - with toolbox disassemble one of the weapons and use the spare parts from it to repair the other one; Working bench+toolkit can repair blades; Electrician toolkit repairs almost all the scopes (some are repaired with normal toolbox); You can make a needle from puppets bones. For thread you can use fishing lines as well. Combined/crafted you get impro sawing kit (for repairing all the clothes). Wanted to mention that Naval base (A4 POI) is indeed huge, but the biggest, in my opinion, is in D4 - Airbase in the north. Under the mountain (entire mountain) is huge labyrinth of corridors, with sick amounth of loot, but also heavily guarded by mechs. Entrances are huge blast doors (also, above every entrance is WW2 bunker - worth to check)

I really dislike the some of the building stuff. That wall you placed was facing the wrong way. I have found that the only way to get it facing the correct way is when you are dragging it you can make sure the arrow is facing out. It is a bit buggy that. Great video man

Sure, get the money needed for the base expansion. But what you could do is this thing: Remove the garden you already have. And remove the red one. Then build one that is as big as the two of them you were originally going to put in. Because if you remember, you could resize it to any size you wanted. You chose the long and skinny plots. Well choose a wide and non-skinny plot. Therefore number of items will not exceed the base count. You will not need to waste money on buying a base expansion mod.

I've been playing since .5 and I have always had the settings crazy hard on a solo server getting a vehicle always felt amazing. After a recent death I decided I'm going to try something completely different considering the puppet spawning system is so janked. For the first time ever I disabled the mechs went to an airport managed to get a plane and have been flying around the map it's the most fun I've had in scum in a long time. That said I am looking forward to 1.0 hopefully a good NPC and puppet system so I can go back to the hardcore grind of trying to survive what I would think is a more realistic zombie apocalypse

I am not trying to offend You and I know each KZbinr has his own way of playing a game and showing his content and that is absolutely fine with me. I only recognize that in long parts of Your videos Your character just stands somewhere and You are talking again and again about what You are "going" to do and "planing" to do, instead of showing Your character actually "doing" it. Please, please, please drop the armour. Its only weighing you down and it contributes a lot to hyperthermia. Also it has no proper use in singleplayer Btw there is a setting that allows you to change your max buildings on 1 flag. You can use a crow bar to open lockers it is just loud and might attack puppets so if you do that clear the area first, also you can eat flower for your carbs it will save you on your proteins you eat and basically take over for it so that you can level up your strength skill without using protein as much you still need it but your carbs will help a lot with the leveling just don’t go too crazy it will make your character fat, and make sure to stay active to.
