What's horrifying about it? It looks like a custom gun stock made from knotted wood: I think it looks great and I'm going to be going through the woods pile to see if I can't make a similar stock for my rifle!
@derskalde4973 Жыл бұрын
Same. It always gives me a smile, when she calls the weirdest stuff cute. A cute little demon skull, a cute rifle that looks like it's alive,... But I think that's part of her Charm.
@gothcxnt Жыл бұрын
@wilfdarr well it's not just for this build, I noticed she called one of her demon shields cute too. I didn't mean it in a bad way, I think it's rather endearing.

What did you use to power that many lights for a reasonable amount of time?
@KamuiCosplay Жыл бұрын
Just a 4400 mhA lipoly battery! However, the code is very power saving as I'm using only a red lights with a pulsing animation. It could probably run for hours, but I didn't actually test it.

You make everything look so quick and easy! I know that's a combination of practice and editing, but I am having some serious EVA foam struggles. Making a sphere that fits comfortably over my head (but isn't TOO big) has been a challenge. 😅

Oh... oh no no no no... it looks so slimy! :D Great job as usual! I would have just used plastic from a 2-liter bottle for the gross glowy globby bit on the back, but I think the crystals did a much better job of making it look organic. Have you seen the movie eXistenZ? This reminds me very much of the organic gun in that movie, though yours is much prettier.

I am trying to get into the electronics side of things but I can't understand the power side of things. with my elegoo uno i can barely power 60 leds for more than a minute the the controller just doesn't have enough power to manage any other animations, how do you manage this so well :D
@SaltyMikan Жыл бұрын
Make sure that you are not running them at full power, 60 of those neopixel/WS2812b LEDs can use up to 3.6A of power (18W at 5V). As for the animations, I don't know the specifics of that controller, but make sure that you only update the LEDs once you have assigned which value every LED should have. For example, if you are using FastLED, if you want to assign a colour to each led, use a for loop with leds[i] = ... and only use FastLED.show() AFTER the loop, not in it. Hopefully this helps
