for the moving you need to have only one gear and have the ratio maxed out. it kept trying to swap to higher gears and that’s why it was having trouble :) also for the suspension; having shorter suspension miiiiight help… (idk)

The Gustav Railway cannon was 800mm and required two sets of train tracks to move and the barrel was absolutely ginormous. If Sprocket added railway type guns you would be able to do a 2500mm Gun.

For your suspension stiffness you want to increase diameter but decrease length in order to make the suspension stiffer. Long thin torsion bars will twist more easily than short fat ones.

You made the Schwerer Gustav, as you said it should be put on tracks. The Schwerer Gustav is a the worlds largest cannon/gun and was put on railway tracks. So it’s pretty much the same thing as you made.

I have made some amazing tanks that can not function becasue they either get stuck on the platform or get caught on the pole or some prop next to it.

I'm pretty sure the US had a pretty good naming convention for those kinds of things. Some how ironically the initialism for it is the same as the most prolific vehicle manufacturer for the US during WWII. So it'd be a GMC in most cases. Not a General Motors Company, but a Gun Motor Carriage. Kind of a weird name, but that's what the name for earlier versions of "thing that moves heavy gun around with an engine and little to no armor" were called before things like SPG and SPH were commonly coined. Also, chalk one more up against Hobart's Funnies. Ain't got nothing against Frantic's Anomalies.

You need to make the length of the torsion bars as small as possible and the diameter as big as possible, and making the roadwheels interleaved will give more torsion bars which means more suspension

Great video, but a question. When I play sprocket, I have to hold down my mouse button to highlight more points. That makes it hard and very often more points gets highlighted. So how do I make it so that I can just click once to highlight a point and then click once to highlight the next one without it reseting?

Fyi, the length on the suspension is the length of the torsion bar. Shorter will be stiffer. For a near solid suspension, massive diameter and smallest length.
