Why such a small building? You did a lot of work for a house that is almost useless. Why not build something a person could actually live comfortably in.

As I’m not the builder this will be guess-work: because it’s not for hooking up a 60 inch flat screen with accompanying PS5. It’s in the wilderness which should be enough entertainment - the hut/house is for sleeping when the day of enjoying nature is over.

Not to mention it's foundations are sketchy at best and likely to rot quickly

@@OutrageousAspect you got me there. I personally would probably have burned the “soil-end” and/or put it on a stone to hinder moisture and then rot. But I guess if one is that capable - it’s just another 30 days and perhaps a brand new location to mix it up.

@@OutrageousAspect not as fast as you think it depends on the drainage etc.... we have Fence post put in just like that and they are still rock solid and no rot 45 yrs after being put in. And they are exposed and not protected by the structure and hold our steel gates with no drop just fine. Now firing them or putting some tar would extend the life no doubt but it's probably not as necessary as you think.

Yeah, this boy made a shaggin’ shack! I would have done a bunch of things differently but the only thing that really bugs me is that he shushugiban’ed a bunch of timber but NONE of the foundation logs which is purported to prevent rot. Other than that, it’s cute! I’d go camping with him! lol ;^)
