It's hinted that Sylvan Glade is the feywild- the air is a tinted color, the secret tree entrance (you have to convince the tree you're friendly to nature), and there's even a fairy circle in the corner of the world!!

So could you use the debug menu and get the magic tree and have it on ur sims lot so this is like their “home”? They go back home to the lot and go through the tree and boom! Home. Make like a cool enchanted forest on the lot with a secret entrance to the real house. Idk haha

@@parryyotter I tested it out and it’s possible. It’s not easy haha. But totally possible. You can place the tree on any lot and gain access to the secret world. Build ur home on the lot Simsie showed and just commit to having to go through the door every time you wanna go “home”!

But I can travel from a random lot in Sulani to the Sylvan Glade through the magic tree placed via the debug menu. Next I’ll build a small home and see how it plays haha. I imagine obnoxiously, I’m really just adding a loading screen unnecessarily lol. Oh! I forgot. I had to search for the tree in the debug menu to find it. Under “mysterious tree”. 😂 this all sounds so silly I promise I’m being 100% serious haha

I have built here as well, but not a whole house! I only have added a few camping/Outdoor retreat items to the Sylvan Glade. A fire pit and chairs, a grill and picnic table, a bathroom (the campground one with a shower inside), a tent, a cooler, a horseshoe pit and a small bookcase. Just enough to give them somethings to do while they're on a fishing expedition.

I personally like Sylvan Glade because you can always fish there, even when Willow Creek is in the dead of winter. If you're living in one of those starter homes, that's really convenient.

I did this in my game, too! I built a Rupunzel tower here, Dwarven ruins in the Oasis Springs mines, and a futuristic space age build on Sixam. And they all have everything to keep a Sim's needs up. I think Sixam is the biggest lot, but it's unfortunately much more difficult because you can't get rid of the lines on the ground, and they mess with wall placement. I ended up having to make certain parts of the build open air.

I love secret worlds in Sims. This is a cute house. I love Cottage type houses. I'd like to see the Sims team come out with a world where the lots are in the forest and they'd be cabin like and you could build your own cabins. Think, a cottage type house in the forest and made of Gingerbread and Cake with Sims named Hansel and Gretel. I always think of that story when I hear about homes in the forest. They should have more secret worlds and perhaps one where you only get to go there if like a Sim such as a Witch Sim casts a spell on you and sends you to this world and you have to do certain things to get back home otherwise you're stuck there forever and the world would have a lot of potentially deadly things that can kill your Sim. I just got Dream Home Decorator last night and love the new furniture and stuff. I will try the career portion of that too.

Hey Kayla. You didn't overdo the landscaping lol. It's a fairy world and so pretty with all the flowers and pink/purple lighting. The house is really cute! It's perfect for us fans of fairies, cottages and anything fantasy. I'll definitely try using it😊 I'm actually gonna try making family of fairies (with the fairy vs witch mod) in the cottage living world. I'm gonna try to use only renewable energy, food they grow, water they collect, build furniture, knit clothes, and farming animals. I just love the idea of my little fairy world that lives in harmony with nature. Also! Thanks to you and this video, I now have more ideas for like a secret or special fairy lot in Sylvan Glade.

Single bed to the right of the fireplace with a shell of walls to either side for semi-privacy, bathroom door in the middle of the 3 tile wall, living room in front of the fireplace, dining table in front of the kitchen nook. Either that, or extend the wall by the bathroom to be flush with it, and have room for a double bed that way. The alcoves to either side of a fireplace are called inglenooks, and it was not uncommon for one-room cottages to have a bed in one, since the heat from the stones or bricks of the fireplace would radiate outward all night, keeping the resident that much warmer in winter.
