A nice design for the Valdor. I would personally like to see the Leman Russ Tank since it's the poster tank of 40k. Plus you could throw your own spin since the Leman Russ has many different options for weapons for the hull mount, sponsons, and especially the turret. And as for your lack of knowledge in 40k. Don't worry, no one knows a lot about 40k since Games Workshop keeps changing the lore with every new edition of the Tabletop game.

Machine guns? Pfffffft. Bolters are 75. Cal diamantine-tipped, rocket-propelled, gyro jet bullet spitting guns of doom. A machine gun in 40k is a "stubber" and are accepted as virtually useless in the 41rst millenium. Stellar work on the tank, mate!

You should merge the points you are putting in the same spot so you don't have to deal with multiple overlapping armor faces.

Pretty epic build... Have you ever tried to build an upside down tank? Make it wide and tall enough to put the turret underneath? Of course the rotation would be extremely limited..., so it'd have to be able to turn quickly. (Disclaimer: my ideas tend to explode)

If this would be multiplayer, I wouldn't really like to tell but I found external fuel tanks extremely useful as reactive armor. A Lynx with small, flattened fuel tanks all over looks great and basically all first shots will hit a fuel tank - and no matter the size of the cannon, the fuel tank simply explodes, leaving the tank unharmed. And it looks insanely good; before and after (when some "reactive armor plates" are gone). Just saying...

Probably the reason why it says outside is from the start were you left it hollow and if that isn't the case then it's most likely the multiple parts you added to be the body and the ammunition is going through those edges/sides making it think that it's outside.

The reason you couldn't move the part was that you were too far zoomed in. IK it's weird but that's the game lol. Yes please more 40k tanks. So if you were to have extended the side of the drivers compartment instead of the roof of the base you would have had a better time. I don't think it was the fact of it being a Warhammer model but that the game was fighting you and after the issue with the gun housing you were really just fatigued was what happened. Up until then the tank was coming out smooth but when that happened it just kinda snowballed on you. I really like your videos, thanks for the fun content.

How big should it be?... Yes How much armor?... Well, yes How powerful should the engine be?... 32 cylinder 7 liter prob And how powerful should the gun be?... Just powerful enough not to be considered heresy, though don't forget to make max shell length cannons in a smaller cal to be your "light" cannons that make everything around you cry also 2 "light" cannons per a small cannon gunner. To put it simply, it should be so overpowered that it's stupid and unreasonable because in the warhammer universe, nothing is overpowered if everything's overpowered.

So there's another reason as to why you want to merge points if you have the shape you want and this has to do with the game play. Each point is connected to an edge which defines a new face. Each face has an armor value to it. If you just armor up what looks like the outside, chances are the game is going to do some armor checks on the faces inside the tank that are near by that still have no armor. So by merging the points that are not being used and simplifying the geometry from unused faces, you actually are better protecting your tank. Also it will help out people with lower end machines who want to check out your creations. The more faces there are, the more pixels/polygons the game engine is rendering, even if they are not being shown on screen. Those are being calculated for because they exist and that can cause lower end machines to just eat a boulder. So really just get into the habit of after you're done designing things, merge the extra points to structural points to simplify the geometry and simplify the armor damage calculations for it. That's also the source of your ammo being "outside". Every new face has an "inside" and an "outside" no matter how cursed you deform it. If the ammo crosses beyond any "outside" face regardless of what it looks like, it's considered outside of the tank. Merge the points and simply the geometry and you will not run into these problems. But your "fitting" issue would also be resolved with, you guessed it, point merging. It really is something that is a tool for 3D modeling, which this essentially is, and not taking advantage of it. . . . it just hurts me. Complex designs are cool, but you're trying to build a shell. Anytime there's extra stuff, you have to get rid of it because all rendering programs are dumb and will render the data instead of the desire (meaning it'll do what it's told via the codes and programming, not what you wish it would. You need to speak its language.) So just go back on one of your previous tanks, merge the points and get rid of the excess geometry and see if it might not be able to fit more ammo in it where you want it and if it doesn't die mysteriously. I'm not saying this out of malice, I'm just trying to aid you in improving your content. This is essentially 3D modeling and there's certain "rules" and "ethics" when it comes to modeling where if you don't follow them, it ends up creating issues down the line really fast. Besides all the other stuff I've pointed out, merging the points would make the designing easier for you. Instead of having to click on the same spot 3 times to try to see if you have the correct point, just have them all be the same point by merging them. They're supposed to all be outside "corners" of the model and if they're all meeting up at the same place, they might as well be the exact same corner.
