coming from kerbal space, I'd like to explain how unity-wheels work: they are not round wheels. they are circles with an area at where the wheel touches the ground, that can actually transfer momentum. everything else is just a funny animation. these wheels seem to have more than just one area (maybe each wheel is actually several "wheels") and hitting it just right is a nightmare.

the reason the front left wheel bounce probably gave the best result is because you punch yourself off the wall a little with the rotational force, so it's more about rotating as fast as possible while hitting the wall

Kacky track suggestions?... Okay, seems obvious to me, but a track in the shape of khaki cargo pants where you have to bounce down through all the pockets on one leg, then back up through the other way with a fan. After you make it back to the top, you go in the pants and the finish is at the bottom of the pant leg. Clearly this is the only true definition of a khaki track.
