I've used a few Red Dragon products in the past and honestly have always been pleasantly surprised. No they aren't going to be on par or beat high end brands, but for the price it's usually a safe purchase. I even had a good experience with their customer service. Bought a keyboard with hot swap PCB and came with blue clicky switches. I didn't like them and reached out to Red Dragon to see if they would be willing to send me some brown switches to install. I only asked bc they included a 3 pack of alternative switches with the keyboard. Red Dragon said they don't stock sets of switches, but instead sent me an entire new keyboard with Brown switches for free...and said I could keep the one I purchased. The interesting thing was that they didn't ask me to do the typical (China junk ripoff company) thing, where they tell you to give the product a 5⭐ review due to the free product. So Red Dragon is typically worth taking a chance on, at least for peripherals....I don't know how much I'd trust the longevity of an AIO but who knows

I just became a Redragon user too. Got an mmo 12 button mouse, a keyboard with 6 macro keys, and a headset all from them, and they are preeeeetty well made. Like you said, not the HIGHEST quality, but for the price, you could do faaar worse. Definitely worth trying.

I recently used the Icoler fans (V1) for a build I will be attempting to sell soon. They were nice to work with, and I'll be using them in my next build, for sure. As for the AIO, I went with a Thermalright 360mm AIO, which was cheaper than the Red Dragon one. If you haven't looked into Thermalright yet, definitely do so.
@DraftySatyr2 ай бұрын
Must admit that so far, I have avoided Thermalright products; the name sounds too much like a knock-off of 'Thermaltake'. But then I suppose that there are a finite number of company names beginning with 'Thermal'. If this video is the precursor of a series, then I'd second the request for you to investigate Thermalright products.

I’ve been flipping PCs for over 5 years and pretty much every single build I’ve done had “knockoff” parts in it! Very often they are produced in the same factory as much more premium brands and you get pretty much the same product. Knowing what to buy and what to avoid is not as trivial though!
@drewnewby3 ай бұрын
They very often are not produced in the same factory as actual quality brands, just in the same factories as brands trying to appear premium. It takes a lot longer to know the difference than 5 years even if you're in the industry, and probably longer if you're just a flipper. I feel sorry for your victims.
