The timing was perfect! Excalty when I was contemplating building my own divider. Great video as always :)

To paint in the letters on the 3D printed front panels would be a great addition. After that, use acetone to wipe off the excess paint and leave the letter with paint in it. You could then lacquer over it or even use resin to seal it, giving the panel a nice finish.

@@kevindewinter8235 Wow. Never thought of that. Thanks! That'd be a nice goal to have in the future. 🙏

@ since your work is a lot point to point i would buy a book with beautifull “Manhattan” style diy’s with good grounding and pure materials like copper, titanium and ceremics. Also diy op-amps like sparko’s would be loveley

Nice, always love your "dead-bug" style prototypes ;) I still have a bunch of CD40** ICs, 18/20/24, would be a bit ridiculous to use the biggest one, although maybe if the clock goes really really fast?

Thanks man! Yeah, more outputs can still be useful for really patient ambient music that I tend to lean towards. You can have it control a gate that opens every other minute or something like that

Why go to the trouble of adding 5V for the cd4040 supply voltage? seems like it, and the 40106 can both handle 12V no problem...?
@benjiaomodular Жыл бұрын
Yup! You could definitely do without, but i wanted my outputs at around 5V to keep it down to Doepfer spec somehow (at 5V) doepfer.de/a100_man/a100t_e.htm
